Major Assignments included the following:-
•Deveopment of 1st Girls Primary Education Project. The project was developed in collaboration with the international experts of Asian Development Bank. As a first step situation analysis conducted followed by a feasibiity study in all the provinces of the country. Based on the consultation witht the stakeholders the PC-I was developed at the cost of US$ 65 million. The project interalia included component on teacher education and training
•Implementation of cultural and educational agreements and cultural exchange programme between Pakistan and friendly countries

•Coordination with national, regional and international agencies on the issues related to Curriculum and Textbooks Development, review and approval in Social Science subjects.
•Focal person for Canada Pakistan Basic Education Project mandated for institutional strengthening of Curriculum Wing through capacity development, documentations and trainings etc.
•Focal person for GTZ on Curriculum Reforms; development and implementation of national curriculum started in 2005-06, training of textbook writers, teacher educators and curriculum developers/subject specialists of Textbook Boards and Curriculum Bureaus. This also included training of teachers in development of teachers on development of curriculum based test items
•Focal person for UNFPA on implementation of Population and Development education for Youth project. The project included development of teacher training materials and conduct of training workshops for secondary school teachers
•Coordinated with UNDP on implementation of Environmental Education Project being implemented by Curriculum Wing in collaboration with UNDP, Islamabad. The assignment included on development of teacher training materials and conduct training workshops for high school teachers on environment related issues and role of teachers.

My Ph.D was a joint venture between National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad, Pakistan and Korea National University of Education, Cheong Ju, republic of Korea. Research project was preparing criteria for selection of contents for teaching English in High schools using constructive approach. The key objective of the research was find ways for developing curriculum for high school children for teaching English as second language.
