In this role, I am responsible for Manhattan Associates’ Integrated Logistics and Warehouse Management Solution in more than 22 Alshaya Warehouses in 8 countries across MENA. I am managing this with the support of fantastic teams based in Kuwait, UAE and India.
Change Management is an additional responsibility I manage to pull-off.
Complete ownership of WMS Application, stability with optimal performance and availability with overall 99% uptime.
Complete responsibility of upcoming projects, warehouses, brand setups, operational flow definitions and enhancement requests from business.
Prompt business communication and responses.
Incidents and Requests raised by the end users are fulfilled within agreed SLA.
Constantly review processes, co-ordinate with various IT Teams to identify ways to improve efficiency and service.
In this role, I lead the company's IT Infrastructure part of the warehouse projects in Kuwait, Lebanon, Bahrain and Jordan. My most exciting work to date is handling multiple and simultaneous warehouse projects without affecting business continuity. Followed by pioneering stability of Manhattan Associates Integrated Logistics Solution (ILS) Supply Chain Management System as per Alshaya Standards and requirements.
Completed over 25 small and mid-size projects across MENA region notably;
WMS DB Management Service Transition from 16 warehouses to DBA Team India.
IT Infrastructure for 6 new warehouses.
Migration of over 50 brands from legacy systems to WMS in 11 warehouses.
Infrastructure upgrade of Kuwait warehouse and extension of Bahrain warehouse.
Successfully introduced WMS virtualization based on VMWare in Kuwait and Bahrain.
Implemented WMS for Non-Stock Items and Shop-fit Management in 10 Warehouses.
Multi-Environment WMS for 3PL.
Backup and Recovery Solution in all warehouses.

Over 8 successful WMS Implementations (configuration, testing and hand-over to Local IT and Warehouse Operations).
Designed the Warehouse Server Farm Infrastructure and WMS Database Server Implementation Architecture. Approved and adopted as Alshaya Standard and rolled out across all warehouses.
SQL Server DBA for WMS in 8 warehouses located in Kuwait, Egypt, Bahrain, Lebanon and Jordan. Extended support to 3 warehouses located in Saudi Arabia.
Played a key role in upgrading WMS to ILS 2009 in 11 warehouses across 6 countries.
Migrated Fashion, Footwear and Home Furnishing warehouses to new site in Kuwait without affecting business continuity.
Migrated over 30 brands from Legacy system on to WMS.
Played a key role in facts-gathering and testing (WMS) of SIW - a software workbench integrating data flow and processing among various corporate applications.
Coached over 15 colleagues on activity-specific WMS Configurations.
Trained over 25 colleagues to identify, analyze and resolve WMS issues and problems.
