Name of project: Juba Electricity System Reinforcement and Expansion Program (JESREP) Year: May 2020 to July 2022 Location: Juba, South Sudan Client: South Sudan Electricity Corporation Major Project Features: • Densification and Extension of Juba Distribution network • 2 X 60MVA Substation at Kasire and Yangat • 132kV transmission line from Gumbo- Kasire -Yangat Position Held: Project Engineer (Electrical) Activities performed: • Preliminary Survey on MV/LV line route for extension and densification of 33kV distribution Network in Juba • Preparation of bill of quantities for all materials required for densification and extension of distribution network to length and breadth of Juba • Preparation of cost estimate for constructing this extension and densification works • Review and validate the design for Kasire and Yangat substations • Re-confirm the locations for Kasire and Yangat substations • Review and validate bill of quantities for all materials required for these substations • Preparation of cost estimate for constructing these substations • Review and validate the design for Gumbo -Kasire - Yangat transmission line • Re-confirmation the availability of transmission line corridors for the line route • Review and validate bill of quantities for all materials required for construction of this line • Preparation of cost estimate for constructing this transmission

Major Project Features: • Rehabilitation/Upgrade of Diesel Power Plant Substation • Design, Upgrade and Expansion of 150km Medium Voltage Network • Design, Upgrade and Expansion of 370km Low Voltage Network • Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 2250 Street Lighting Points • Rehabilitation and Expansion of Customer Service Centers Position Held: Project Engineer (Electrical) Activities performed: • Assisting the project manager, distribution line supervisor and the civil construction supervisor in carrying out the management and supervision work of The Juba Power Distribution System Rehabilitation and Expansion Project (JPDSREP) • Project document control and site management • Participation in review of various designs in the project • Participation in drafting of project contracts for the client • Preparation of contractor's payment measurement sheets as well as review of interim payment invoices • Participation in drafting and reviewing of project reports • Quality control of project deliverables when required • Quality control of proposals prepared • Gradual participation in construction supervision activities
