POSITION: HSE Officer
CLIENTS: BECHTEL INTERNATIONAL
TechnipFMC, Tecnicas Reunidas and Samsung Engineering (TTSJV).
Establish, implement and maintain Training programs, Inspections/Audits, Accident Investigations, HSE Plan
and Emergency Plan and compliance to legal requirements as per QCS.
▪ Successfully ensured that the company’s IMS is audited both internally and externally.
▪ Review general safety and company Emergency Response plans to ensure statutory compliance and current
application to practice.
▪ Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies,
guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
▪ Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and
environmental issues.
▪ Acts as a focal point for all related incident & accident investigations providing support to investigation teams
where required.
▪ Conduct, Induction, Man machine interface, Power Tool, Work at Height Trainings.
▪ Deciding training priorities in consultation with employees and their representatives.
▪ Conducting gap analysis to identify existing gaps within the management.
▪ Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance.
▪ Encourage employees to report unsafe or healthful conditions.
▪ Develops training for employees in the facility; delivers training as requested by management and according to
the employee lifecycle.
▪ Seek suggestions from employees for improvement of workplace conditions.

DUTIES:
▪ Review Safe Systems of Work - Work permit, Job Safety Analysis, People, Environment, Equipment and Material.
▪ Lead the development, implementation, monitoring and improvement of the Group’s Quality, Health, and Safety &
Environment Management Systems
▪ Ensure development of Project Quality Plan, HSE Plan, and other QHSE documents are established, implemented
and maintained as per Bahrain Construction Specifications.

Schools and high rise buildings at Lusail city

Duties:
Evaluated incident forms, surveys, and audits to investigate root causes and formulated plan of action to correct non-
compliance behaviors and conditions.
Liaised with on-site sub-contractors to ensure their compliance with company safety regulation and adherence to safety
standards, including basic safety induction trainings.
Identified unsafe acts, conditions and hazards and preferred corrective action.
Co-ordinate and facilitate evacuation training every 3 months to ensure that all staff and employees become familiar with
procedure.
Monitor to ensure staffs obey and implement the PTW procedure.
Ensure that the right PPE for the right job is donned at all time on site.
Daily checklist monitoring of heavy equipment such as Crane, Loaders, Bulldozer, excavators, Rollers and Dump trucks to
make sure they operate with the required licenses, fire extinguishers, signal lights and in conformity with safety procedures.
Daily observation reporting and hazard Identification.
