 To establish realistic baseline schedules (Level II, III, and IV) for the project and to ensure implementation of the most appropriate and effective progress measurement and reporting systems to enable effective monitoring of the progress.
 To prepare, update and maintain systems and procedures relating to Project Planning & Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Progress Reporting, Progress Trending, etc. consistent with the Company requirements.
 Responsible for updating and maintaining the schedules, assessing the physical progress, analyzing data, performing trend analysis, comparing progress with the approved baseline schedule and project’s key milestones, suggesting corrective actions, when necessary, and preparing report documents.
 Ensure that the detailed planning of the various phases of the work is in accordance with the project strategy and milestones to achieve the overall project plan.
 Development of the recovery schedules and/or time impact analysis.
 Coordination with the client for the timely delivery of Engineering & Procurement deliverables.
 Coordination with the sub-contractors for work front and productivity analysis.
 Participating in the weekly and monthly progress review meetings and discussions with the client.

 Develop work breakdown structure (WBS) and Level II, III, and IV schedules using CPM and performing resource loading & leveling using Primavera P6.
 Understanding the scope of work, and getting familiar with the BOQ mapping system.
 Develop progress monitoring system (PMS) based on earned value analysis (EVA) and physical quantities.
 Calculating optimal material requirement, manpower requirement (of various trades), and machinery requirement.
 Preparation of project control procedures according to the contractual requirement of the project.
 Collect periodic updates and prepare daily, weekly and monthly updates of the project.
 Progress monitoring and reports preparation for client and corporate offices.
 Updating of baseline schedules and raising alarms/flags for improvement of weaker areas.
 Evaluate and forecast the project progress and performance against the established accepted/amended schedule and critical/key milestones.
 Access the impacts of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
 Coordinating with all departments, especially Engineering, Procurement & Logistics, and Site Construction for timely addressing of issues and smooth execution of the Project.
 Reviewing and approving the schedules of sub-contractors, especially of fabrication, manufacturing, and construction sub-contractors keeping in view the overall approved baseline project schedule.
 Attending and leading weekly and monthly meetings with Clients and Subcontractors.
 Development and updating of the Risk register in coordination with the internal stakeholders.
 Assisting in preparing extension of time, cost claims, and change work orders on the basis of variations in scope and schedules.

 Coordinating with site project team & design team for all engineering deliverables.
 Monitoring of Project Key Milestones which includes completion of Basic Engineering, timely conduction of HAZOP, completion of LLI’s ordering and site deliveries, mechanical completion of the project, timely receipt of all contractual completion certificates from Client etc.
 Development and submission of Weekly, Fortnightly and Monthly Progress Reports and preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders on progress and highlighting the areas which are behind schedule while proposing mitigation measures to recover lost progress.
 Development and control of Procurement Log Sheet, Risk Register, Issue tracker sheet for effective control of Project Management Plan.
 Coordinating with all departments especially Engineering, Procurement & Logistics, Site Construction for timely addressing of issues and smooth execution of the Project.
 Development and submission of monthly progress/milestone based invoices to client with consultation of the Finance Department.
 Reviewing and approving the schedules of sub-contractors, especially for fabrication, manufacturing and construction contractors keeping in-view overall baseline project schedule.
