Duties and responsibilities include the following:
A) Planning, coordination & partnerships - 20% o Support micro planning & strengthening health & nutrition planning at all system levels including at community level. o Coordinate monthly / quarterly progress meetings with IP's (govt. & NGO partners) at the various levels, where appropriate & as required. o Support GHO's & districts to document & follow up action points / recommendations from regular nutrition related program meetings or reviews. o Participate in nutrition cluster coordination meeting to improve links between the cluster & YCO nutrition program at all levels. o Support the planning, development & oversight of H & N Program Cooperation Agreements (PCA's) at field or CO level. o Support FO & central level nutrition staff or focal points to develop clear expenditure plans aligned to the annual work plans & facilitate their implementation & monitoring. B) Nutrition technical program support - 30%: o Provide technical backstopping & follow up support across all nutrition program areas as & when required specifically: o CMAM: Support delivery of services through the more than 3900 treatment sites across the country at national & district levels in collaboration with govt. & IP's. o IYCF program: Provide oversight of the IYCF counselling services through IYCF corners & at various health
service delivery points. o Micronutrients: Support the follow up of ongoing micronutrient supplementation activities, vitamin A supplementation, deworming, micronutrient supplementation of children 6 - 23 months & iron folate supplementation of pregnant & lactating women. o CHNV: Support to liaise with GHO's, DHO's & or MOPH to streamline CHNV lists, follow up CHNV activities (screening of malnutrition, micronutrient supplementation, IYCF counselling among others, review meetings, support supervision) in close collaboration with the CHNV GHO / DHO focal points & ensure regular & timely submission of reports. o Initiate, support & monitor nutrition capacity building activities across all nutrition program areas. o Provide supervision & monitoring support of nutrition related activities.
C) Nutrition information management, assessments & reporting - 30%: o In collaboration with Nutrition Information Specialists & IMO's ensure the submission of timely & quality nutrition related information through DHO's, GHO's & PCA partners. o Participate in & support regular nutrition assessments or SMART surveys / FSLA & IPC analysis among others. o Ensure HMIS registers & other nutrition data tools are available & used correctly in the facilities. o Support program monitoring, reporting & lessons learned documentation. o Support the development of program documents & planning tools for nutrition programming. o Participate in & support nutrition related program evaluations. o Support knowledge management & evidence generation. D) Nutrition supplies management - 20%: o Support nutrition program staff to appropriately define the supply needs, to forecast & procure nutrition supplies in an efficient & timely manner to avoid stock outs. o Support the preparation and follow up of nutrition supply distribution plans in consultation with IP's (govt. & PCA partners) according to the needs of the various delivery platforms HFs, CHVs, MT's among others. o Provide monthly updates on nutrition supply stock levels including end user monitoring at HF's, district & governorate levels to ensure a more efficient nutrition supply chain system including ensuring the contingency stock at all levels.

Work closely with the team to achieve the department objectives, targets and plans effectively and efficiently.

Focal point for Mobile Teams in all the governorates that the MoH implement it in south governorates, Taiz and west costal gov. :

As FP for Mobile Teams coordinate with GHO, INGO and NGO about MTs programs to avoid duplication between them.

Follow up teams in all the governorates to send their movement plans and reports and ensure that they share it with donors.

o Design curricula and oversee implementation of hygiene promotiontrainings. o Coordinate distribution of vouchers for hygiene promotion and water treatment kits with the Logistics and procurement Officers. o Train Community Mobilizers and volunteers on hygiene promotion and monitor their implementation of trainings. o Design and oversee implementation of hygiene promotion awarenesssessions. o Ensure quality and integrity of implementation, including adherence to technical guidelines, administrative systems, and established deadlines. o Evaluate the relevance and appropriateness of current and future programming in relation to water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion in the local context. o Coordinate with other partners that are working in the water, sanitation and hygiene promotion in the same target areas by attending the WASH cluster meetings and other relevant humanitarian/recovery coordination meetings, conferences, and/or trainings. o Coordinate with MOH, MOE, UN agencies and the other INGO to facilitate implementation of program. o In collaboration with relevant program implementation staff, prepare, oversee, and update the work plan for WASH related activities. o Prepare required progress/weekly reports for the Program Manager. o Assist in program development and proposal preparation as requested by Program Manager and Program Director. o Keep soft and hard documents related to WASH activities.
