Responsible for all areas relating to accounting functions. I must meet tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including maintenance of the General Ledger and all subsidiary ledgers, reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts (reconciliation of intercompany transactions, Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information my position is responsible for daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks and activities. Ensuring that all the entries are booked in SAP as per the company guidelines. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.

• Manage the book of accounts
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions
• Reviews accounts payables and weekly check runs. accounts recivable too
• Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits
• Reporting directly to the Finance Manager with responsibility to lead and manage the ongoing development of the accounting team. Working closely with both internal and external groups to ensure integrity, accuracy and control throughout the financials.
• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Monitoring and guiding the GL, AP, AR, FA team.
• Proficient in Axapta
• Train new accounting staff on accounting procedures
• Stock control
• Effective problem solver; prioritize and manage heavy work flow without direct supervision.
• Make recommendations for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
