Project Assignment: Duqm Refinery Projects EPC Package one Coating and Fireproofing Works
• To ensure the readiness of the QA/QC requirements are met before start of painting/coating application
• To initiate Inspection requests for client’s monitoring inspections.
• Review the applicable paint system compatibility.
• initiate the qualification of the Sand Blasters/Painters and Review of method statements of painting application
• To ensure the calibration/validation of Sand Blasting/Painting Equipment's, tools etc.
• To inspect the Surface preparation and paint application tests
• To prepare the inspections reports, Coating survey and scope of work etc.
• Giving all Technical guidance according to approved technical specification and drawings.
• Controlling the coating/painting & insulation daily construction activities at Site /Workshop according to the ITP and project quality tests.
• Monitoring the progress, priorities and maintaining the relevant documents.
• Report processing and effectively forward to higher reviews.
• Reviewing contractor’s submittals.
• Maintaining all relevant QC documents for painting, coating and insulation.
• Prepare the inspections reports, internal NCR, Surveillance’s etc.
• Prepare the yearly budget for the plants maintenance painting activates to ensure availability of painting material’s
• Determine the requirements for surface preparation, painting system, material’s, tools, labour and time required for painting activates in both planned and corrective work orders to ensure timely and quality execution of painting activates
• Define and issue the PTW type according to surface preparation and painting method in order to eliminate hazards.
• Supervise painting activates through giving precise instructions to the personal responsible for subcontractors services in his area of responsibility in order to control the work activates and ensure proper distribution of personal
• Review and update painting work orders on the CMMS in order to ensure refection of work orders status
• Prepare the monthly painting activates report in order to provide information concerning all painting activates
• Request painting materials and review and update Min/Max stock level according to painting material consumption to ensure material availability and smooth workflow
• Prepare the suitable plan for my activates.
• Follow up all quality control procedure.
• Review the applicable paint system compatibility.
