Manager of computer graphics department :

Assigning and supervising the activities of the Computer Graphics Department staff;

· Managing the development of graphics and layouts for all 2D presentations and design elements for 3D animation;

· Specifying time schedules for projects and supervise the progress of each project to meet the agreed deadlines and quality standards;

· Providing architectural and graphic design expertise in defining the presentation sequence and choosing the best presentation media in coordination with the project designer;

· Establishing and maintain professional rapport with the clients and directors to discuss projects and design, including requirements, goals, and submission dates;

· Coordinating with other departments to ensure all updates are received and applied;

· Handing over the projects' materials and information to the assigned Senior Graphics Designer and provide graphic design advice to all members of the project team;

· Leading brainstorming activities to produce different ideas and options in order to create an impressive story board for the assigned project;

· Identifying complex problems in the work process and reviewing all related information to come up with possible solutions then use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and approaches to those problems;

· Giving approval to initialize rendering;

· Revising the sequence and final animation to ensure consistency with the story board;



· Analyzing any failure in rendering or dumping;

· Remaining up-to-date with the latest technology in order to be able to evaluate and recommend new multimedia / 3D / CAD software and hardware as well as other appropriate mediums to produce competitive graphic designs and artwork;

· Evaluating the need for upgrading to new hardware or software and ensure proper implementation when approved;

· Ensuring that the quality procedures are applied by the department's staff;

· Defining plans for improving the presentation quality and reduce cost; and

· Following-up on the performance of the Computer Graphics Department staff and providing reports and recommendations.
