Egypt Factors is a leading non-banking multinational financial institution specialized in corporate trade finance & factoring. Established in year 2006 as a joint venture between Commercial International Bank - Egypt "CIB" (40%), FIM Bank - Malta (40%) & International Finance Corporation "IFC" - World Bank Group (20%).

My current role can be summarized in Managing 5 teams, out of which 3 marketing teams, 1 credit team, and 1 telemarketing team. The role include:
* Managing the company's overall credit portfolio, as well as, managing & guiding the team approaching new prospects, reviewing credit proposals & memorandums ensuring proper structuring of facilities avoiding compromising on quality of risk & risk policy parameters.
* Monitoring & fine-tuning of subordinates performance to ensure meeting the company's annual budget & business scope.
* Targeting prospective - key & strategic - accounts needing structured trade finance for large tickets. In addition to handling & coordinating for syndicated factoring deals.
* Responsible of creating-updating short & long-term business plans & budgets.
* Preparing-reviewing all marketing plans, marketing campaigns, events, seminars, press releases, publications, newsletters, and business agreements.
* Reviewing of all types of periodic/annual reports, such as performance and portfolio analysis reports. In addition, being responsible of appraising the team-members' performance.
* Remedial management, including; negotiations, restructures, initiations of legal actions if needed & developing/enhancing credit controls & procedures to avoid similarities.
* Voting member in three committees; Loan Recovery Committee, Management Committee, and Risk Management Committee, which is responsible of approving new facilities & taking key risk decisions.
* In such emerging market & being the one of its kind in Egypt, one of my key responsibilities is setting & creating internal policies, procedures, manuals, evaluation modules & rules. In addition to developing new products & services.
