Led a team of technicians and junior engineers during corrective and planned maintenance of plant equipment (21 STS, and 66 RTG cranes) and managed to achieve target equipment KPI.
Diagnose technical problems, determine corrective actions, and repair for STS and RTG cranes:
o SIEMENS PLC: Programming and troubleshooting PLC like SIEMENS S7-300, S7-400 PLC using various programming language STL, FBD, LAD.
o SIEMENS VF DRIVES: Programming, installation and troubleshooting of compendium Master Drives like (AFE, RRU, AC / DC) drives using drive monitor software and also S120 SIMOTION and SINAMICS drives using Starter and scout software.
o Diesel - Generator Set: troubleshooting and maintenance of Cummins, Volvo Stamford diesel generators
o SCADA: Troubleshooting and applying modification for SIEMENS WINCC flexible and ZPMC CMS.
o Communication system: Profibus, Ethernet, Fiber optics and ASI bus.
o Hydraulic system: troubleshooting of various hydraulic system problems.
Maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of Aggreko power plant (12 generators, 12.6MVA).
Prepare SOPs and Risk assessments to ensure full work compliance with safety standards.
Prepare technical report of equipment failure, required repair and corrective action required to prevent further damage.
Liaise with Reliability team for improving equipment maintenance plan items and providing Root cause analysis of equipment failure.
Liaise with Inventory for saving equipment spare parts to avoid equipment downtime.
Liaise with operation department to be sure of equipment availability and follow equipment maintenance plan.
Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within APM terminal safety standards.
Led a team of 5 technicians during corrective and planned maintenance of plant equipment.
Converted compressed Air station from manual to full automated station.
Troubleshoot, and Maintenance of Industrial Automation system and power sections units like:
o SIEMENS PLC: S7 - 400.
o ABB VFD DRIVES: ACS 800 & DCS 500.
o Field devices: metal detect sensors, position, temperature, flow and pressure transmitters.
o Automatic transfer system ATS.
o Different motors starting system like: star / delta and soft starter.
o 1250KVA/ 22KV MV transformers, Schneider Switch gears, and SEPAM 1000, 2000 Protection devices.
I had attend the following courses: -Electrical machines design. -Advanced mathematics course. -linear control. -Power Distribution. -Environment Sciences. Electrical Installation. -Power electronics embedded circuits. .
