Project description:

∙  Construction of East Industrial Road between Al Muntazah Street and West Corridor (P017 C2) involves the construction of approximately 2.5km of new Expressway. The scheme consists of a raised viaduct structure with three signalised at- grade junctions at Street 41 (17/EIR-02), ), Perimeter Road (17/EIR-02A) and Street 47 (17/EIR-03), and a three lane collector road system on each side of the mainline. The dual four lane carriageway from project P010 is reduced to a dual three lane carriageway on the approach to the viaduct structure.

Project description:

∙  This contract encompasses approximately 55Km of dual carriageway and includes five two-

    level interchanges with 7 lanes in each direction. Located to the Southwest of Doha, this

    contract starts at Mesaeed Industrial City interchange and reaching up to Salwa Road.

 

∙  The Project consists of Earth works, Road work, Asphalt works, Utilities works and structure  

    work consists of 5 interchange bridges in addition to 16 underpasses otherwise 16 crossings

    for QP lines through concrete arches.

 

Job description/ Role:

 

●  Develop, execute and manage the project plan and delivery to ensure project completion in 

accordance with the time, cost and quality objectives.

●  Coordinate site to ensure smooth functioning of all departments.

●  Ensure compliance with Quality and HSE requirements.

●  Coordinate with Project Director to finalize project budgets, plans and delivery schedules, other than conflict issues with the client.

●  Coordinate with Project Director, Chief Technical Officer and HR Director to staff the project team in a timely manner.

●  Conduct routine project site inspections.

●  Conduct regular project meetings with internal and external teams (client, consultants, contractors, etc.) for project tracking and progress review.

●  Present reports to management and clients as required.

●  Interface between client and consultants (and contractors) for monitoring work completions and payment issues etc.
