Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the establishment & operation of Environmental
Monitoring Laboratory.
• Prepared Quality Manual and other required documents for obtaining NABL
Accreditation as per ISO/ IEC 17025, and NABET Accreditation.
• Formulating the field monitoring schedule of Environmental parameters like Air,
water, Noise, soil, Micro-meteorology, etc.
• Identification and installation of air monitoring locations in discussions with
EC/FAEs.
• Ambient Air quality monitoring for PM10, PM2.5, SO2, NOx, CO, Hydro Carbons and other relevant parameters.
• Stack Monitoring - PM, SO2, NOx and other relevant Parameters.
• Monitoring of Water and Wastewater Quality (ETP & STP)
• Operation & Maintenance, Oxidation Reduction reactor, Ion Exchange Techniques,
Evaporator, Chemical and Biological Treatment Methods.
• Verifying field samples, reports, etc. prepared by field technicians in micrometeorology, ambient air, stack emissions, ambient and work zone noise
levels, water/effluent/sewage samples, soil samples, etc.
• Collection of secondary data on environmental aspects from various sources and agencies like census, IMD, forest department, Ground Water Board, etc.
• Furnishing required technical inputs to EC/FAEs and rendering assistance in report
preparation. Building up good rapport with field crew and lab personnel in smooth
functioning of EIA activities and Lab Works.
• Prepared Environmental Impact Assessment Reports for various sectors.
• Prepared Environmental Assessment Report For Common Sewage Treatment
Plants.
• Risk Assessment Reports.
• Carried out consultancy services, Renewal of Consent Order, CRZ Clearance and
Hazardous Waste Authorization.
• Maintaining professional ethics and high quality standard in all activities and execution of works.
• Development of skill for functioning as Functional Area Expert.
• Familiarization of environmental laws, Rules, Regulations, etc.
Experience in EIA field
• Filling applications to State Pollution Control Board for sector 1, 9, 31, 33 (Port,
harbours, Jetties, Break water) & 38 and preparation of Environmental
Management Report detailing the identification of sources of Air pollution and its
abatement measures, identification of sources of Water pollution and its abatement
measures, Solid Waste Management and co-ordination with clients for technical
discussion for obtaining Consent orders from respective Pollution Control
Board.Risk Assessment.
• Prepare Form 1 for getting TOR's from EIA authority with MD, Attend Expert
Appraisal Committee (EAC) for TOR's
• Collect the Baseline Data with required data file/questionnaires with FAE's
