Roles & Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
• Work closely with business on a weekly basis to understand resource requirements for existing and upcoming Restaurants & Central Support Office.
• Spearhead various recruitment drives to hire professional staff for various hospitality brands i.e. Nando’s, Carluccios, Max’s, Jamba Juice & Zafran.
• Plan & execute the critical path for different business requirements in conjunction with Talent Acquisition. Solely responsible for onboarding employees for different territories including UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia & Kuwait.
Employee Engagement
• Responsible for the rollout of quarterly & annual engagement survey. Conduct briefings with Business Managers pertaining to Results, Reasons and Implementation of a development plan to eradicate issues and align the team to the corporate culture.
• Weekly visits to stores to gage the employee issues and further sharing the findings and chalking out a plan to help solve any grievances.
• Spearhead the LEAD program which enables employees to be recognized and empower them.
• Organize monthly activities within stores to engage employees and build a happy environment to work. Represented the business in the Happiness Movement for Landmark Group.
Talent Development
• Coordinate and organize programs to help drive Individual Development Plans and Managerial Development Plan within the business.
Projects
• Implemented EPIC hospitality program (Engage, Personalize, Inspire & Create) across all hospitality brands which served as the foundation of the new culture.
• Worked closely with the Corporate team for the launch of HCM within the group and ensured training of each module was imparted with the team for easy use.
• Involved and handled the full recruiting life cycle & end to end recruitment.
• Handling Joining Formalities, Inductions, Employee Records and File generation.
• Planning and delivering training for all employees.
• Providing specialist information and guidance to employees and managers on HR policy and practice and employment law.
• Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law.
• Handling the monthly payroll operations for all employees. (Salary preparation, Calculation, Salary advances).
• Maintain and update Leave records for all employees
• Handle employee terminations, grievance and other difficult situations in a sensitive, fair and respectful manner.
• Identify talent and aspirations of individual employees and provide coaching aimed at motivating them to undertake the necessary training required to advance their careers within the company.
• Responsible for ensuring the Performance Management process was tracked and adhered.
• Support PRO with all Visa and Labor formalities.
• Responsible for day to day administrative tasks.
• In charge of other office projects such as Office Renovation, Website creation, Company Branding, New Insurance partners, developing partners in Asia & Middle Eastern countries etc.
• Organizing employee engagement activities on a quarterly basis.
