KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Developed Global Business Reporting which led to 25% increase in efficiency and helped management make key decisions.
•Utilized data analysis skillsets and attention to detail in identifying areas of improvement and communicate complex insights to management.
•Lead the formulation of Corporate Annual Budget and Forecast during the quarter.
•Streamlined the Forecasting model for the Global IT Costs which is easy to use and has collaborative interface for collating information from more than 250 stakeholders.
•Lead the Decommissioning of Software Applications and supported the Leadership in classifying the low usage apps; computed the cost impact and thereby generated considerable savings.
•Review and Correction of Actuals (Accruals/Amortizations) MoM after continuous coordination with the GL Accounting team.
•Lead the Restructure of a Cargill's Business unit (OSC) into two units (Make & Supply Chain) and ensured smooth delivery and completion of Reporting, Headcount movements, Contracts, and other related cost allocation which was highly appreciated by stakeholders.
•Automated various manual processes by implementing Digital Reporting platforms.
•Developed Recovery Rate Setting Model for FTE and Contractors for more than 200 Cost centers.
•Review of the Actual recovery against the Operating Expense and Overhead and reporting the Over/Under recovery for the month/quarter/year for those 200 cost centers.
•Initiated Team meetings and Team Learning within the team by conducting monthly programs.
•Collaborate and guide the Business teams, GL Team, Capex Team, Cost Center/Service Owners to make sure the Financials submission & reporting is accurate and timely.
•Active support to the FP&A Director, Functions Director, and their team in providing data driven Analytics / Ad-Hocs. Tools used - Apptio, Anaplan, Power BI, ITP, SAP Achievements: o Simplifying the Forecasting and Recovery computation models and making it more effective and useful o Enhancing the use of various reporting by making significant changes to them like Decommissioning of Apps, Month end/quarter end Presentations.
