3: Robi Remittance:
This is a J2ME Based application developed for Aktel Robi (Axiata Bangladesh) for their remittance based SMS Service.
Tools & Technologies: Java, Swing, Struts2, Spring, Hibernate, Mysql.J2mesimulator.
Description/Functionality:
There will be a Client Simulator to send the SMS.This Simulator is nothing but a desktop UI which will send the SMPP message to the SMSC (Short Message Service Center) server.
The SMSC will listen to a particular port where the Simulator client can send the SMS.
The SMSC will then forward the message to the web application through some message queue.
The Web Application Reads the message and send back a Response (it may be positive acknowledgement or negative one) to the SMSC server to send it to the Client.
The Client simulator gets the message.
