• Set the strategies to maximize the life time of all equipment including forklifts, chillers, compressors, overhead cranes, HVAC, and all utilities equipment , and follow up the implementation of actions support these strategies.
• supervise plumbing works, electric works, A/Cs, and facilities.
• Manager of Diesel generators power station and control the economic operation of power generated.
• Plan and schedule Preventive maintenance programs for equipment, and supervise the implementation of the based time programs.
• Shift as much preventive maintenance activities to predictive activities as possible.
• Shift old machines to new locations including revising, correcting and modifying electromechanical works.
• Minimize the breakdown duration by using the right and enough resources.
• Install new machines according to the drawings.
• Control spare parts inventory to be optimum.
• Control the consumption of the spare parts.
• Keep effective communication with other departments (production, quality, stores, ..) to make maintenance activities more efficient.
• Conduct employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians.
• Put the training plans for maintenance team to keep common skills and knowledge according to requirements of the maintenance activities for different machines.
• Review the operation of plant equipment, lines and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintains computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) ( COGZ, then SAP) for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
• Secure and monitor maintenance workshop equipment and facilities.
• Assist in RCA reports and Failure analysis.
• Internal Auditor of Safety and Occupational Health
• Internal Auditor for environment aspects.
• Searching and identifying the opportunities for developments.
• Coordinate activities with Plant standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.
• Ensure country, and standard regulations relating to the maintenance department are met at all times.
