Spectrum grew from a small-scale residential EPC in 2015 (560K JOD in revenue) to one of the most prominent EPC contractors/developers in Jordan with 9M JOD revenue in 2017

Working in an extremely confidential environment, the role of the OSPD director requires strong project management skills coupled with the ability to coordinate/liaise with highest ranking government and military officials and other stakeholders to initiate projects, establish roles and responsibilities and follow-up on implementation - Report progress to the Chief of Staff and His Majesty

Responsible for supporting the timely delivery of tasks and initiatives as directed by His Majesty the King (HMK) and the Chief of Staff through extensive coordination and problem solving with the Staff and other parties as relevant
• Developed His Majesty’s knowledge management system in addition to re-engineering and automating operations within His Majesty’s office.
• Developed and institutionalised a tracking and performance management system for both internal and external follow-up.
• Assisted the Chairman of King Abdullah Fund for Development (KAFD) with the development of the Democracy Fund; a first of its kind, aimed to create a vibrant democratic culture in Jordan underpinned by active participation in civil and political life by all Jordanians and a transparent and accountable system of parliamentary government.
Played an important role in setting expectations of improved outcomes across government and instilling a new culture of performance excellence in the civil service. Implemented a results-oriented approach across government by driving the process of setting performance targets and helping the Prime Minister hold Ministers and their teams accountable for meeting those targets.
Selected Achievements:
• Organized the development of Jordan's 2010 and 2011 Executive Implementation Plan.
• Developed and institutionalized the government-wide monitoring and tracking system. A system that managed the progress of over 1500 government projects encompassing 130 government entities.
• Developed a systematic framework which organized the work of 6 Ministerial-level committees that enabled and maintained government accountability, improving performance and unblocking service delivery
• Managed seven performance teams
Part-time Lecturer, Topics: Organizational Behaviour/ Principles of Management
Directed overall operations and research initiatives. Established performance indicators, operating goals, realignment initiatives, productivity improvement programs that consistently improved investor targeting and satisfaction. Functional areas of management involved strategic planning, human resources, business development, marketing, project management and evaluation. Worked closely with International Donors such as the World Bank and European Commission in an attempt to secure additional budget targeted to enhance Jordan's investment environment. Traveled across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia to form strategic alliances with new prospective investors. Managed 20 employees.
Selected Achievements:
• Developed and managed multiple National Programs such as the National Investment Strategy and JIB internal strategic plan.
• Deployed and managed two crucial units at the JIB: The Pre-feasibility Unit and the Policy Advocacy Unit.
• Successfully implemented the "Jordan Investment Map" that resulted in the development of 150 investment opportunities and 75 pre-feasibility studies with over 2.5 billion JOD in potential investment.
Was approached by the Ministry of Foreign affairs (MOFA) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade for a part-time assignment to develop and deploy the Economic Unit (EU) at MOFA. EU responsibilities included the organization and tracking of all economic activity within Jordan's embassies abroad with a plan to expand its role to include both political and social activities.
Selected Achievements:
• Developed an economic and tracking model to be implemented across all Jordanian embassies abroad and is capable of influencing economic reform policy.
• Developed the Unit's Internal Strategy along with detailed internal and external procedures
• Acquired the needed human and systems resources
• Participated in the Arab Economic, Development and Social summit held in Kuwait (JAN 2009) as an investment/economic advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs
The position entailed Engineering Systems Architecture Design and System Integration. In 2004, headed the local office, acting as project manager for two ongoing IBI Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), responsibilities included extensive client interaction, systems design, implementation, schedule-tracking and budgeting
Selected Achievements:
• Developed a company wide Business Development system that managed all BD activities within the organization
• Conducted a thorough "Traffic Management System TMS" technology review for a multimillion government project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Research Title: Assessing the Sustainability of the Telecommunications Sector in Developing Countries The dissertation incorporates the design, development and testing of a model for use in evaluating the sustainability of the telecommunications sector in developing countries. In addition to the model’s ability to evaluate the past or current state of the sector, the model can be used as a predictive tool to assess the impact of any number of potential management strategies including sector reform.
