Job Description: 1-Apply effective tuning for different parameters to improve 3G network KPIs
including Call Drop Rate (CDR), Handover Success Rate, Soft Handover Success
Rate, Location Area update, Paging Success rate and CSSR and HSPA throughput
KPI's.

2- Outline and provide short term network capacity studies for the required 3G
expansions ensuring network performance in alignment with marketing promotions and subscriber growth.


3- Design and review regular drive test routes; performs field drive test
measurement and analysis.
4- Physical tuning Azimuth and tilt angle of the antenna to improve coverage
defects (coverage holes, overshooting coverage, Pilot pollution .Etc)

5-Solve and correct radio network problems according to agreed timing and standards set, to detect and highlight radio network deficiencies and to some extent
predict future degradations.

6- Enhance competitive position and participation in clusters and major roads
optimization campaigns and bench marking against other operators through drive
test and performance monitoring.
7- Use RND tool to estimate the required site to meet the coverage and capacity
requirements of certain area.

Job description: - Testing and troubleshooting of Ericsson 2G RBSs (2000 family) and node B sites (3000
family) for alarm analysis and rectification within the specified time frame in order to enhance the N/W availability and keep it up to meet the customer demands and
satisfaction.
-Testing and troubleshooting of MINILINK TN links within the specified time frame in order to keep the SLA and minimize the site outage time as possible.
-Performing the re-routing tasks for sites with LOS problems by installing and commissioning new links and making the new cross connections according to the new
plan.
-Rectifying the DCN management problems for all sites which are not monitored to be
monitored by SOM to facilitate the TX operations and maintenance done by the BO TX
team
-Handling and rectifying all site power problems as soon as possible to keep the sites up hence keeping the N/W availability as high as possible
-Handling all CR tasks for BTS and MW equipments approved by customer within the specified time frame for better N/W performance
--Integration and software upgrading to P7 for node B.In addition to conversion its
transport layer from IUB over ATM to IUB over IP

Achievements
•Interested in graduation project in traffic state on highways and how to detect it using
communications system and GSM infrastructure based on drive tests using TEMS
investigations field measurements for BTS stations exist on this highway

•passes all phases MIE (made in Egypt) competition for graduation projects.


• Trained in Alkan Networks Company -installation department- Vodafone project from 8/19/2007 till 9/30/2007. Interested in building new BTS (Base Transceiver
Station)
