Tasks/Responsibilities :
o Developing, organizing and reviewing building
plans.
o Preparing construction contracts for general
contractors.
o Formulating cost estimates based on equipment,
materials and labor requirements.
o Ensuring that construction projects meet
environmental, safety, structural, zoning and
aesthetic standards.
o Determining and scheduling different stages of the
building process, in accordance to the client needs.
o Responsible for leading, managing and overseeing
the entire architectural project on a day-to-day
basis from the Design phase through to Design
Development, Construction Drawings, Construction
Administration and Closeout phases
Tasks/Responsibilities :
o Enhance the disaster preparedness mechanisms
and strengthen early warning systems and
procedures.
o Facilitate hazard and risk assessments and
integration of disaster risk management integrated
into development policies, plans and budget.
o Establish preparedness and planning mechanisms
and tools to manage disaster recovery processes at
national levels.
o Humanitarian coordination.
o Partnership with regional and global partners
o Strengthen the damage assessment and reporting
systems.
o Advocate for allocate funds for integration of DRM
in to budgetary and planning process.
o Organize the monthly Disaster Management Team.
o Represent Mount Lebanon district and act as a
resource person in workshops, conferences and in
meetings, and the wider donor community.
Tasks/Responsibilities :
o Review and coordinate architectural, structural,
mechanical, electrical, and related design
documents.
o Make cost estimates and time completion
schedules.
o Plan, assign and supervise the work of subordinates
and consultants.
o Establish and maintain effective working
relationships with associates, consultants,
contractors, departmental officials, and community
and city council representatives.
o Inspect projects under construction for adherence
to plans, designs, ordinances, specifications and
standards.
o Project management and supervision skills,
responsible for setting out sites and organizing
facilities for smooth execution of site work.
o Responsible for checking technical designs and

o Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications,
budgets or timescales.
o Meeting with clients and stakeholders to discuss
construction designs.
o Drafting building plans for commercial, industrial,
and residential construction projects.
o Preparing budgets, material documents, and
specification lists for client approval.
o Acting as an intermediary between the client and
the construction team.
o Overseeing building contractors and construction
crews.
o Visiting the site regularly to ensure construction
adheres to state regulations.
o Creating progress reports, time schedules, and
revised budgets.
