Description: The project was integration between two systems; first Automatic Planning System which solves the Vehicle Routing Problem, a well-known complicated problem in Operation Research field. We are solving this problem on medicine distribution domain. After studying many other algorithms and examining their test results we found that Passenger Pickup Algorithm (PPA) is the best to minimize resources use and it showed promising test results. As distributing companies cannot handle to manually generate an efficient plan to serve its customers and minimize the resources. We implemented this algorithm to automatically generate a near optimal solution for this problem. Our second system; Real-time Tracking System ensures that the generated plan is exactly followed by the company’s fleet. It gives the company the ability to follow their fleet on maps, and detect any undesired use of resources, through a web application that the managers access to monitor the fleet and a mobile application (Android OS) accompanied by each driver, connected by a web service we implemented. As well, the system allows managers to generate reports to evaluate employees and review use of resources.
