Design Selection, Engineering and ordering for all Measuring Instrument and Control Valves.
-Preparing and reviewing instruments orifices, restriction orifices and control valve calculation.
-Troubleshooting Studying, Root Cause Analysis and Preparing the Permanent Technical Solutions.
-Updating the instruments data sheets.
-Reviewing and studying the technical offers for Instruments, Control Valves and service Providers.
-Preparing the required PCR documents (Plant Change Request) for all Modifications related to Instruments.
-Checking the received material in warehouse according to PO.
-Reviewing the Shutdown plan and adapt the time and duration with the planning
-Preparing the instruments ITP (inspection and test plan).
-Participation in turnaround to implement the required modifications and do the required Commissioning

- Flowel software Program for orifice calculations
- Conval 9 software for Control Valves, thermocouples, PSV’s and Orifices Calculations
- Fisher Specification Manager for Control valves calculations
- MAXIMO software Program (Procurement and Maintenance)
- Merdian software (documents Storage and Management)

Manage and participate for review of P&ID's, Layouts, Specifications, Operability and Maintainability studies, participate in workshops and design and plot plan reviews and contribute with site requirements and experience towards improvement of existing systems as required.
• Provide effective interfaces and relationships within/between disciplines, site teams and peers in other site project teams.
• Network and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to Site team or interface teams and other Project owners for fast tracking projects.
• Review Instrument & Control / Safety valve specifications, Instrument location plans & E&I cable routing drawings, Loop diagrams, instrument tie-in Schedules and other Design Specifications.
• Conduct tests to identify & recommend solutions for interface problems between different control systems, telecommunication and network equipment and contribute towards minimizing changes to scope that might impact on cost and schedule for the project.
• Provides technical expertise with experience based knowledge and assistance to site maintenance departments on Instrument and control, machinery engineering & maintenance and monitoring for all process Instrument and control equipment.
• Track, Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path for compliance to individual milestones and deliverables. Liaise and resolve and conflicts within the project execution plans, schedules or implementation and Site operations.
• Lead and direct the major Instrument and control activities to be carried out with the operation/maintenance targets KPI’s being achieved or exceeded.

I was working as senior I&C Eng and ALSP320 (DCS) system administration for configuration, commissioning, startup and maintenance in East Port Said thermal power plant ( 2*364 MW) BOOT system with E.D.F company (Electricite De France).

I was working as an I&C Engineer In Sidi Krir thermal power plant (2*340MW) with EEHC (Egyptian Electricity Holding Company)

During the period from 2/7/1997 until 31/12/2006 I attended the installation, commissioning and startup of all controllers and field instruments, in charging of faults analysis, troubleshooting solution and preventive maintenance scheduling of all controllers, field instruments and automatic Control cabinet (PLC, DCS) belonging to the following parts:

Steam Boiler and Turbine & Generator.
Desalination unit
Water & Waste water treatment.
Fire Fighting.
Air compressors and Air Dryers.
Motor & Turbine Driven Pumps.
Caterpillar Diesel (5MW).
Also, I worked in the following control systems:
