• Responsible for day to day purchasing, from specification to issue of Purchase Orders, for all the required goods and services on a broad range of projects.
• Maintaining and improving all Supplier discount arrangements
• Continually reviewing the overall ‘value’ offered by
existing Suppliers
• Ensuring a flow of new Suppliers, that are capable
and competitive
• Track Supplier performance and supply feedback to
all product specifiers
• Manage vendor relationships and assist in building
effective partnerships
• Assist department in developing and implementing
purchasing strategies for products.
• Maintaining good lines of communication with all
product specifiers
1. Logistics support for the whole University including the Residential Area consisting of more than 3, 500 housing units.
2. Logistics support for personal effects movement, equipments and consumables.
3. Stock monitoring and movement through SAP system.
4. Random sampling inventory monitoring.
5. Material issuance and receipt since the Warehouse acts mainly as a distribution center for the whole University.
6. Space management.
7. Safekeeping of precious and delicate materials.
8. Furniture and office repairs are also part of daily operations.
9. Other pre-assigned and approved policies and procedures as per the contract.
