Title Sr Network Engineer.
Ø To provide maintenance and troubleshoot Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks and data communications equipment, to configure and trouble shoot Switches and configuring Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, and OSPF) also analyze and fix network-related problems reported by users.
Ø Ø Devices Hands-on: -Router Series 2500, 2600, 2800, 3800, 7200 VXR
-Switch Series 2900, 3500, Catalyst 1900, Catalyst 2950, Catalyst 2960 3560, Catalyst 3550 -(Multi-layer switch Ø Monitoring all Cisco equipment’s using Cisco Works. Ø Involved in SNMP Network management. Ø Configuring VLANs, VTP, Etherchannels Ø Configuring intervlan routing on Layer-3 switches Ø Securing switch access. Ø Working on various scanning and sniffing tools like Ethereal. Ø Upgrading and backups of Cisco router configuration files. Ø Implementing and maintaining backup schedules Ø Document all network set-ups
