The Pre-Sales Telecom Engineer supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions. Also, Pre-Sales Telecom Engineer collaborates with sales, service, R&D, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Answer to RFI/RFQ/RFP together with the Key Account Sales manager.
* Participate in conferences, shows, exhibitions when appropriate and requested.
* Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements,
assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends optimum solutions, ensuring
appropriate support for the proposed architecture.
* Provides coaching and professional development to company’s members.
* If required, acts as a Project Manager for each deal to ensure the final solution is delivered
towards customer’s expectation and initial proposals.
* Follows and shares market technological needs and evolution with Product Line Managers.
* Make sure to meet customer's commercial expectations along with the technical requirements.
* Obtains client information by answering telephone calls; verifying
information.
* Determines eligibility by comparing client information to
requirements.
* Establishes policies by entering client information; confirming
pricing.
* Informs clients by explaining procedures; answering questions;
providing information.
* Maintains communication equipment by reporting problems.
* Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards
and guidelines; recommending improved procedures.
* Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions;
participating in educational opportunities.
* Accomplishes organization mission by completing
related results as needed.
•Server Administration. (Win. Server 2003 & 2008, Active Directory,
TMG 2010)
•Design and Maintenance of the Company's Web Site.
•Creating and Publishing mailing service.
•Computer maintenance (Software) and (Hardware).
•Maintaining data availability.(Recovering & Back Up)
•Network security and isolation of a specific departments in the
company (e.g accounting, Projects, or managers)
•Data and resources sharing of network inside a specific
department's network.
•Network monitoring.(QOS, Stability and Connectivity)
•Responsible of any device set that is related to computer field or
high tech devices.
•Follow up with employees that may threat network performance or
miss-use of internet connection.
•Network performance documentation and job procedures.
• Server Administration. (Win. Server 2003, Active Directory, ISA
2006).
• Maintaining the unit's networks (Routers, Switches, Fiber cables,
UTB cables).
• Maintaining the unit's computers (S.W & H.D).
• Monitoring network's performance and track client complains
• Made a plane to reduce all those clients' complains and it worked
out successfully.
• Gained 1st place over military hospitals in the IT and Network
administration.
• Establishing new networks and wiring fiber cables, UTB and IP
configuration.
• Network performance documentation and job procedures.
• Warehouse keeping and managment
• Selling and marketing company's products.
• Providing technical support for company's clients.
• Establishing new communication channels with new clients.
• Collecting and meeting tenders' needs and preparing Technical
and Financial envelopes.
• Taking responsibility of maintaining company's network,

• Preparing for the foreigner expert's visits and meetings with our
clients and also tour programs.
• To make presentation for company's products to the clients in &
outside Cairo.
