• Commanding the Management Accounting functions, established Accounting Policies and Procedures in line with IFRS requirements.
• Generating financial statements and regulatory reports (quarterly, semi-annually and annually) in accordance with IFRS.
• Ownership of technical reporting and control environment. Collating the management reports, budget and active monitoring of the key performance indicators KPIs. Ensuring that rigorous internal control is implemented.
• Liaising with the External Auditor to finalize the auditing process, financial statements and providing the supporting documents and explanations. Effectively cleared all audit qualifications by complying with the auditor’s requirements and best accounting practices.
• Delivering a full spectrum of accounts functions, including payables and receivables management, for maintaining an effective cash cycle. Preparing monthly detailed cash flow, commentary and updated forecasts.
• Supervising processing of daily transactions, entries, credit notes, debit notes, daily bank reconciliation, suppliers, customers’ cheques and wire transfer.
• Leveraging sharp analytical abilities whilst conducting end-of-the-month financial analysis, investigating variations with managers & recommending corrective actions.
• Superintending, mentoring and empowering a dynamic team of accountants to be high-caliber, recognizing and utilizing throughout the business as value-added business partners.
