Regional Manager à Punjab Vocational Training Council

• To establishments and management of VTI’s leading to quality training and placement of pass-outs though Aare Offices in the Region.
• Identify the local demand driven trades and coordinate with curriculum section of PVTC in preparation and up-gradation of the curricula
• New VTI’s and their expansion plan, feasibility reports projects proposals / budgets preparation for approval of the competent authority in consultation with DBOM’s and Area Managers.
• Evaluate performance of the VTI’s specially with reference to quality of training and provide guidance
• Facilitate implementation of all policies, rules, regulations, procedures, systems of PVTC and instructions of Head Office in the VTI’s through Area Offices in the Region.
• Act as member of the District Selection / Promotion Committee and assist in implementation of all rules regulations and procedures.
• Act as Secretary Selection Committee for the selection of Admin & Account Officer, Area Office
• Act as Member/Secretary of the procurement committee and ensure implementation of all rules regulations and procedure for the Area Office.
• Collect information, prepare reports and submit to HO. Report about training need assessment received from VTI’s and other sources.
• To Verify and confirm reports of OJT and placement of Pass Outs submitted by VTI’s
• Monitor OJT & Placement activities of VTI’s
• To monitor conduct of examinations
• Conduct, facilitate and coordinate arrangements for financial administrative and academic audit.
• Maintain Liaison with chambers, Associations, Entrepreneurs, District Administration, District Zakat Authorities, District Zakat Authorities, District BOM’s etc.
• Promote the cause and achievement of PVTC objectives in the area
• Submit reports & returns after compilation of information relating to the VTI’s required by Head Office and other departments of PVTC through coordination with three Area Office in the Region
• Facilitate proper implementation of admission procedure in VTI’s
• Forward performance appraisals of principals / Vice Principals received from President Board of Management along with his recommendations
• Assist HO to consolidate / scrutinize VTI’s budgets and develop proposals for Regional Manager consideration

• Facilitate implementation of all policies, rules, regulations, procedures, systems of PVTC and instructions of Regional Manager in the VTI’s. In case of non compliance by VTI managemnt, should inform Regional Manager immediately.
• Act as member of the District Selection / Promotion Committee and assist in implementation of all rules regulations and procedures. In case of any differences with the committee, he will record his observations in writing and communicate to the Regional Manager.
• Appoint Area Office support staff except Admin & Accounts Officer on the recommendation of Selection Committee. Act as Secretary Selection Committee for the selection of Admin & Account Officer, Area Office
• Promotion / increment of support staff as per PVTC Rules
• Maintain Earned Leaves and Maternity / Iddet Leave record of VTI’s & Area Manager Officestaff where PVTC approval is required.
• Forward Cases of Earned Leave and Maternity / Iddet Leave of VTI’s & Area Manager Office staff to PVTC where its approval is required.
• Sanction earned and casual leave of Area Office Staff.
• Respnsible for safe custody, utilization and proper accounting of funds transferred to Area Maanger Office by PVTC.
