• Project: Hamad International Airport, Qatar
(Midfield Fuel Farm Expansion Works, New Western Fuel Farm, Western Taxiways, Remote Stands, Utility Zone & Landside Infrastructure)
• Reviewing commissioning procedure and manuals, safety plan, review clearance of SNAG/ punch list, coordination with contractor & client.
• Reviewing, witnessing of tests, safety plan, review/clearance of punch list, coordination with client representative, handover, system completion, training, spare parts management etc.
• Providing inputs to P&ID, Process flow diagram, Isometric drawing etc. for final documents.
• Review of Material Submittal, process flow diagrams, engineering drawings, layout diagrams, technical specifications, method statements, T&C procedure and manuals.
• Modification as per site conditions with best engineering practice and standards.
• Responsible for Pre-commissioning & commissioning of Jet Fuel A1 Tanks, Pipelines, Hydrant pumps, Hydrant pit & network (Soak test, Pressure test, Pigging, flushing and Performance test run)
• Testing & Commissioning of Pumps, Filter Water Separator, Micronics Filters, FCV's, DBBV's, MOV, etc.
• Responsible for Witness of Testing and commissioning of Firefighting system for Fuel Farm, including foam system, Water Mist System, NOVEC System, etc.
• Witness for testing of “Cathodic protection system” & Leak Detection System of fuel pipelines.
• Responsible for Witness of Testing of various systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Diesel Generator with Storage Tanks, BMS), in Main Substations feeding to different systems at airport.
• Responsible for Coordination of SNAG & DE-Snag with different disciplines (Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control), to prepare final punch list.
• Reviews documents, witnesses the performance of completed assets, prepares checklists for asset handover documentation, conducts meetings/interviews, and prepares handover final reports in a timely manner.
• Coordinates with Airport authorities for clarifications, justifications and approvals.
• Assures asset documentation meet authorities and stakeholder requirements.
• Provide support to ensure compliance to handover documentation requirements with end-user, suppliers, subcontractors, and others.
Being part of a vibrant and dynamic team in an International consortium (EPC, Engineering, Procurement and
Construction) composed of renewable energy contractor GranSolar from Spain which is the leader of the JV,
alongside Acciona (Spain) and Ghella (Italy).
The JV was created on November 2016 with the purpose of participation in the tinder and finally to construct
world’s largest Photovoltaic plant located in Dubai
Inspect and ensure the proper execution of work performed during the daily activities. Included but not limited to
ramming, drilling, structure preassembly, structure erection, modules installation
Determine that construction work is in conformance with the design documents and assembly manual.
Ensure all preassembled materials associated with installation are in accordance with the design to ensure compliance
with job site specifications.
Review of daily and weekly report send by subcontractor, Lease with subcontractor
Report to the line manager on daily basis about the performance of subcontractor on site
Duties and Responsibilities:
Being part of a vibrant and dynamic team in one Italian International company that works in the field of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation installations, from the design up to commissioning and start-up of the plants. • Supervise and manage the AC systems installation, commissioning & hand-over to the client (Ducts, AHU's, Chillers etc.)
• Supervise and manage day by day works activities, meetings, inspections, material requests, and acting recently as claims manager for the executed works done at site.
• Supervise and manage a team consist of 125 persons
• Manage Execution of works on high quality and professional manner, as per DEWA standards and SITIE standards
Project:
• Jebel Ali M station plant expansion (JAMEX) - Dubai
The M-Station, is the newest and largest power production and desalination plant in the UAE, with a total capacity of 2, 060 MW of electricity and 140 million gallons of water per day, the expansion project includes adding two gas turbine generators, two heat recovery steam turbine generators, and one back pressure steam turbine. This will increase the plant’s thermal efficiency to be one of the highest thermal-efficiency rates in the world.
