My role is to act as the interface between the Company and the UK Social Housing Providers, keeping the company up to date with current UK social housing policy, highlight & develop business opportunities where appropriate and develop and manage external & internal partnerships. Within this role I have also provide market research, competitor analysis, develop business strategies and deliver a range of development projects from inception to completion.
I manage budgets and expenditure in the pre and post contract phases of live projects.
Providing tenancy management services to a defined patch of properties working with multidisciplinary teams managing multiple projects and services with demanding workloads.
Responsible for services and staff within the operational area, duties included project management, developing performance indicators and supervision/management of teams including recruitment, training, supervision and disciplinary matters as appropriate to ensure that staffs work collectively to provide an efficient and effective service.
Budget management, overseeing the overall management of Arrears Collection, Voids processing, Allocation and Reactive Repairs ensuring each service meets its set targets.
Also, responsible for responding to complaints, ensuring that health and safety systems are adhered to and as a member of the Group Management Team contributed towards the delivery of other corporate and strategic priorities within the directorate.
Acting as Management’s contact and liaison for internal and external service providers, worked with partner organisations to address mutual strategic interests. This included working with diverse client groups from a multitude of ethnic backgrounds and cultures to identify and deliver priorities.
• Overseeing the management of a defined patch of the borough’s temporary accommodation.

• Provided day-to-day housing management services including processing Void properties and insurance claims, Arrears Recovery and general advice on welfare benefits and administering the computerised Recording System.
• Performed appropriate duties as and when required by the senior managers.
• Monitored and co-ordinated repairs and improvements within the patch as necessary.
• Dealt with complaints from tenants or their advocates.
• Liaised with other departments, enforced tenancy conditions ensuring the Council’s diversity policies are adhered to.
• Achieved the status as the most productive member of the team.
Based in West London, my main tasks were to provide day to day housing management services and perform appropriate duties as and when required by the senior manager.
Working for the IT department my main task was providing support for IT hardware, software and networks to nearly 45 users based in two locations.
Whilst providing on-call expedient error corrections and solutions, I was also the sole officer working on a specific project for the company’s client the CSO (Central Statistical Office).
Working on similar projects in different support and development roles, I accomplished in setting and meeting deadlines, planning and developing methods for computerising a range of business tasks and developed my problem solving abilities.
