Objective:
Preferably looking for a job as a Senior Project (Director/Manager/Head) of residential or industrial development projects, works organizations or construction projects (construction of buildings and structures including infrastructural and allied facilities) or agricultural projects. I will successfully handle in hand multidisciplinary projects and also plan new projects while working on any one of the said positions.

Major Experience:
• Dr. Tariq M. Zaib have 34 years of experience regarding completion of various multidisciplined projects and working on all stages of project cycle starting from project concept, project feasibilities, PC1s, planning, designing, monitoring, evaluation, technical audit & support and efficient & effective execution up to the operation stage.
• Worked as Director General (Works), subsequently as Director General (Technical) and on other positions (given below) from May 1990 to October 2024. Completed a wide range of mega projects having worth of Billions of rupees such as residential complexes, hospitals, educational and research institutions, coal power project, flood protections, infrastructural developments, agricultural, various industrial projects and ensured quality, timeline and completion of projects within allocated budget and available resources. Explored various out of box and win-win solutions from project’s data and in collaboration with all concerned stakeholders. Planned and prepared new project’s proposals.

Allied Experiences:
• Being a member of committee as technical expert prepared first draft of Pakistan Building Code
• Worked as President of Technical Committee to develop a school of excellence and coordinated with consultants in collaboration with Pakistan Council of Architecture and Town Planning (PCATP) to form a national level Joint Venture Consortium of renowned architectural and engineering consultants.
• Coordinated with reputed consultants such as National Engineering Services of Pakistan (NESPAK) etc. regarding feasibility studies and to finalize the design as per user requirements of various projects.
• Coordinated with Planning Commission of Pakistan for the approval of various projects after finalizing technical and financial parameters.
• Being a member of technical committee attended both national and international meetings regarding negotiations related to projects and to freeze technical and financial parameters in accordance with user requirements.

Academic Experience:
• Involved in teaching of M.Sc. Civil Engineering classes being a visiting faculty member in various institutions since 1990. Supervised various research projects of M.Sc. and Ph.D. students and also worked as external examiner for all degree’s level programs.
• Remained member of national evaluation committee (Structures and Transport) and evaluated various universities and research institutions of Pakistan.
• Remained member of academic council for higher education in UET.
