Responsibilities as PS Core Support Engineer:
• Responsible for Operations & Maintenance of Huawei Smart Policy (Bill Shock VGS) system and online self management portals for customers:
• Responsible for quota management for all postpaid subscribers and their charging for data services and bundles:
• Working in close collaboration with IT Billing, IT provisioning and IN teams for complete provisioning till charging for data bundles:
• Configuration activities and fulfilling new bundles as per new marketing requirements:
• Complete reconciliation activities between IT billing, IN and Huawei Bill shock to minimize discrepancies:
• Complaint handling related to customer bundles, data services and wrong charging:
• System health checks and routine maintenance tasks:
• Daily statistical reports for SM subscribers and transactions:
Responsibilities as IN/VAS Engineer:
Being part of VAS Team, responsible for:
Monitoring and Surveillance of all VAS Nodes along with O&M.
Training of New VAS Resources.
Handling Planning Team Work Orders and different activities.
Taking VAS Statistics on request of Planning Teams.
Direct Dealing with Complaints Support Teams.
Taking Health Checks of All VAS Nodes and Performing PMR.
Escalation of Issues to Level-II Team, Management and Vendors.
Analysis and solution of Different Issues raised by Complaint Support Teams for VAS Related Issues.
Generating fault reports.
New service/system integrations and launch in Network.
Developed and Maintain VAS services monitoring Tools for Linux/Unix based Platforms.
Maintain Internal and External SLA with MTTR.
EVC (Electronic Voucher Center) (Huawei)
Administration and maintenance of (Jazz Load) and generation of EVC reports for finance department.
Involvement in EVC Project and troubleshooting of EVC related complaints of Retailers and Distributors.
Coordination with vendor for critical platforms related issues and performed activities on EVC platform.
Disk spaces controlling of application and database Server on daily basis.
Jazz Load distributor and retailer SIM’s uploaded on EVC.
Create and manage user accounts, groups and functions.
To generate a VAS maintenance Report for all VAS Entities.
To generate a daily Topup summary Report, EVC Trend, EVC Transaction Summary and balance report on daily basis to review jazz load revenue.
GPRS (Nokia Siemens Networks)
Troubleshooting of whole Network (Nationwide).
Connectivity verification form SGSN (Serving GPRS Support Node) and well understanding of all interfaces related to it.
Integration of new BSC’s with SGSN, database definition:
Hands on experience of taking GB, Gn and Gr Internal traces and SGSN management troubleshooting.
Testing of GPRS Inbound and Outbound Roaming with more than 50 operators.
Implementation of data of new Roaming operators as well as new IMSI levels on SGSN.
To generate the GPRS stats Report and KPI report in terms of Stats to monitor the performance of SGSN on daily basis.
Monitoring System alarms.
Parameters restored through IMSI also find status of Blackberry.
On Flexi ISN configuration, APN creation & configuration of IP Pool expansion.
CRBT (Colorful Ring Back Tone) (Huawei)
CRBT Platform administration, maintenance and resolve of all types of complaints related to CRBT.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for giving Technical Support to the field Engineers as well as Technicians on the issues related to MW’S, BTS Cabinets and Rectifiers.
O&M Engineer:
Maintenance of all the sites which are under EPTSC in Jhelum.
Troubleshooting of problem if any occurs on these sites.
Responsible for the Preventive and Corrective maintenance of 140 BTS’s, 11 BSC’s.
Preventive maintenance covers the maintenance of every equipment regarding GSM BTSs such as BTS Cabinets, Microwaves (ODU and IDU), Rectifiers, Earthing of every Electrical Equipment & Patching of DDF Panel for alarms generation etc within the GSM Power standards.
Corrective maintenance refers to the effective response in case of receiving any alarm report from the OMC-R.
Worked on different type of Rectifiers such as Eltek, Delta, Ascom & Saft Power System.
Installation & Trouble Shooting of Saft Power Rectifier and AVR on Mobilink Sites.
Operation of different Generators used by Mobilink.
Troubleshooting the Power faults in ATS panel like magnetic Contactor, Phase Failures Relay etc.
