Managing the Merchandising operations of GMG KSA business which include top sports brands, Nike, Sun and Sand Sports, Timberland, Vans, Columbia and Northface.

Managing a merchandising and buying team and responsible for the commercial trading of fashion retail brands (F&F, Old Navy & Gap international market). Business is worth over $65m and +3000 SKUs per season each brand. The Key accountability is for the total brands’ performance, stock management, responsible for Merchandise flow, delivering GM profit and GM%, achieving Terminal stock Budgets, forecasting sales, inventory management and open to buy. Managing, motivating and coaching my team is one of the big parts of my role to ensure the delivery of commercial goals as well as developing each individual to be the best they can be.
Responsible for the commercial trading of fashion retail brand (F&F), Key accountabilities;
• Set up the brand in the market
• Responsible for flow of right stock at right time and right locations

• OTB planning along with Merchandise and buying manager

Responsibilities/Accomplishments:
• Successfully performed stock planning and allocation across the brand, monitored and maintained stock level, efficiently responded to trade challenges, managed bottom line profitability through high sales returns, stock targets, cost control and resource allocation. Monitored marketing & sales team and ensured targets are achieved effectively
• Secured reimbursement for damaged & short delivered goods from the principle & contributed in buying process. Designed seasonal buying plans as per brand including OTB, based on business plan & seasonal cycle rolling forecast
• Liaised with GM brand management and produced accurate sales & margin plans based upon historical analysis and future trends. Ensured effective procurement of merchandise for seasonal merchandise launches
• Efficiently optimized assortment of fashion garments for all brands in terms of size ratios, top, bottom ratios and color combinations to bring customers in contact with complete range. Complied with stock turn parameters for all brands to benchmark against industry standards & best practice; took necessary actions to improve stock turn performance
• Designed MSSI reports, conducted analysis for strategic decision making, executed sales plans and reported to senior management. timely reported markdown lists to relevant department for translation and approval in advance of any internal event.
