project. Duties :
I have been promoted to wireless TD with Huawei (Zain Saudi account). Responsible for Technical wireless part of Huw projects under Zain account (2G/3G/4G/5G) Achievements & responsibilities since joining Huawei: Work on Huw wireless solution team to prepare HLD/BOQ/LLD in terms of HW/SW/services to prevent any delivery technical risk, and to guarantee smooth technical delivery for wireless part (or access part) 2G/3G/4G/5G. NOTE: SW is license part of the BOQ, and release SW version required for the network up to date. After PO signed with customer … also make a final study for HLD/BOQ/LLD and make sure no wireless (2G/3G/4G/5G) technical risk in delivery in terms of HW/SW/services, or solution agreement in general. Prepared Delivery BOQ template for technical engineer team members to use it for assigning hardware, software and services required per site for each site within the scope in the project. Prepare DBOQ template for payitems required for subcontractor for each site, as per scenario required for delivery. Prepare DTRB, DR-0, DR-1 … etc (delivery technical review bidding) to highlight technical risks, technical HR resources required, risk cost, and sub contract cost required … etc. Projects I am working for it so far are NR2600, NR3500, L800, TDD2600, L2100, L1800, G900, and U2100 expansion … etc. Make sure the integration team is ready to integrate new sites (or new technologies to the site), and follow up with them to guarantee smooth integration and delivery. Guarantee MS/BO acceptance criteria for the sites after integration. Follow up with customer solution team for any mismatch between LLD and actual delivery required to solve any diferences in terms of Hardware, software, and services. Worked on 5G commercial launch for Zain network sophai-1 project … providing 987 sites NR2600, 200 sites NR3500, and 153 L800 sites. Continue 5G commercial launch for Zain network sophia-2 project … providing 2095 sites NR2600, 28 sites NR3500, and 50 L800 sites. Responsible for any BSC/RNC project required for Zain account.
Responsible for any SW upgrade required for Zain network (e.g. RAN15.1 required to introduce for 5G network). Even I worked closely with OSS team to upgrade OSS/NFV from U2000 R17 to U2020 R19.1 preparing for 5G network. Work closely with TRM and IPRAN team to provide 10GE ports for 5G sites. Work closely with wireless RF team to guarantee no RF issues due to site integration on the site, and site ready for DT, thus SSV is granted for customer approval.

Duties : I have been moved to a new project with Motorola in Saudi as 3G NSP engineer (3rd layer support for RNC & NodeB). Responsible for the following:
• Commission RNC both platform BSC6800 (RNC5000) v1.8 (USR6), and BSC6810 (RAN controller) v2.9 (USR6.1).
• Upgrade RAN controller (BSC 6810) to USR7 version (v2.10)
• Plan & Upgrade RNCs and NodeBs with new coming patches and new release SW.
• O&M RNC both platform v1.8 (USR6), and v2.9 (USR6.1).
• Construct DB for RNC (DataPlan & Scripts).
• Trouble shoot RNC, and NodeB.
• Train new comers, and engineers with 2G backgrounds on 3G technology.
• Work on commissioning OMCu, and train OMCu engineers on M2000.
• Coordinate with Core (MGW/MSS & SGSN) Data planning and cells planning.
• Reparenting for NodeBs.
• ADD/RMV/Mod neighbors
• Adjust parameters in coordination with optimization team.
• Support optimization on solving problem in order to optimize the network to the optimal performance.
• Do RNC dimensioning & Planning.
• Do RNC utilization report & formula.
• Make a tool (on Excel) to create scripts for adding NodeBs, Cells, Neighbors (3G2G & 3G-3G) for both versions of RNCs.
• Coordinate with TRM regarding the connection between NodeBs and RNC, the connection between RNCs it self, connection between RNC and switch, and connection between RNC and MUX.
• Commissioning/integration/trouble shooting NodeB.
• Clear Alarms for region 3 3G network here in Saudi Zain to zero alarms.
• Introduce/implement BroadBand to the 3G network (Ethernet TRM cable, and 2nd carrier).
• Support Deployment, O&M (Management Services), and VAS (Optimization, planning & performance) in order to solve any problem they face with 3G network.
• Implement IUPSoIP (migrate from IUPSoATM to IUPSoIP) for 3G network here in Zain Saudi.
• Prepare for USR8 upgrade RNC & NodeB v2.11 (BSC6810).
• Prepare for USR9 upgrade RNC & NodeB v9.12 (BSC6900). Prepare for HSDPA+ trial 42.2 Mbps.

I had worked with the First Joint Group Company in Kuwait; in the Traffic light and High Speed Camera Control Division in the General Traffic Department from 12.9.2000 until 2/2003 as Technical Supervisor.

Responsible on the technical matters, planning, deployment, Operation & Maintenance, technical support, and lead a team of 3 technicians on daily basis.
I was the technical lead for the technical department responsible for 56 traffic lights cameras sites, 33 speed cameras sites, and 8 mobile speed cameras; total 97 sites.

I was the head of the Technical Department; responsible for supervise, manage, organize, and plan the work of the Technical Department on daily basis and on the long term basis.

Work with the technical support in the supplier company (Robot Foto Und Electronic GMBH) in Germany for technical matters in the project.

Looking after the films (negative), the Development Department, the Network Department (film processing) to see the results of the traffic light cameras system, and optimize the system to achieve the best results.

Achievements:

• Handle task on my own in a very short period from date of start.
• Built work schedule from scratch.
• Create daily technical checking tasks.
• Create daily technical report format.
• Found a more efficient way of doing things.
• Manage daily maintenance and troubleshooting for around 100 sites with limited technical personnel resources.
• Alert/ trouble shoot for serious problems a head; before things get worse.
• I got a raise twice in 2.5 years of working….first raise was after 6 months, and second raise was after 1.5 year (from date of start).
• I start as Engineering, and when business grows up I got promoted to technical supervisor/team leader (head of the technical Dept.) with 3 technicians under my supervision.
