Responsibilities:
• Project coordination, management and execution of Substation projects.
• Responsible for day to day management of the project.
• Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 132kV GIS, Power Transformer, 33kV GIS, 11kV AIS, Capacitor Bank, Control, Relay and Protection Panels, Auxiliary System, HVAC, Lighting, Earthing etc.
• Managing the technical staff, providing technical guidance during their day to day operation.
• Support and implement the assignments given by the Project manager.
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Preparing reports as required.
• coordinating with client, consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.

Responsibilities:
•Planning, monitoring and controlling material and manpower at site.
•Ensure timely progress and implementation of project quality plan.
•Ensure that works are carried out in line with approved drawings and budget.
•Technical Coordination with consultants & Clients as and when required.
•Preparation and submission of Technical Submittal for Materials to the consultant and client and following their comments until getting the approval.
•Preparation and submission of daily progress, weekly progress, rollover program and monthly progress reports.
•Quality checks during the receipt, storage and erection of equipment.
•Responsible to executing the project as per Project specification, Quality and HSE Plan.
•Site inspection and walk down with consultant and client.
•Technical Coordination with OEMs to incorporate the comments issued by Client.
•Preparation and submission of monthly progress measurement to consultant and client.
•Technical co-ordination with Civil and MEP team as and when required.
•Preparation of Entry permit, method statement, and outage request for Shutdown works.
•Ensure the electrical safety while working inside the commissioned substations.
•Preparation and submission of As-built drawings, O&M manuals and SAT reports to client.
•Responsible to submit the handing over tools and spares to client.
•Responsible to obtain Defect Liability completion certificate.
•Detailed study of tender documents, contract conditions, specifications and drawings.
•Making proposals and Bidding / Quoting tenders for all kind of projects.
•Attending meetings with clients/consultants and pre bid meetings. Site survey / investigation for different aspects before quoting tenders. Inquiries, negotiation and finalization of orders with suppliers / venders / sub-contractors for major items of awarded projects.
•Preparation of Bills of the quantities and works.
•Motor diagnostic testing- Motor current signature analysis.
•VLF partial discharge and tangent delta measurement of Cables, Preparing reports with recommendations and comments.
•Thermography of electrical installation, analysis and report preparation.
•Transformer pre-commissioning test (SFRA, Turn Ratio, Winding resistance tangent delta, low voltage test etc.
Technical Support to Marketing Team for Demonstrations, Training of Testing equipment at customer end and after sales support.
•Thermography scanning of Switchyard, Generating Stations and Transmission lines. Preparation of Thermography reports with Recommendation and comments.
•Circuit Breaker Testing and preparation of test reports.
•Transformer Testing-Transformer Oil Testing, Winding resistance Testing, Transformer Turn Ratio Testing, SFRA Testing. Preparation of reports with recommendations and Comments.
•Lightning Arrester Testing: IR test and Third Harmonic Resistance, Measurement, preparation of report with recommendation and Comments.
•Battery Testing-Dry out test, Lead Sulfation test and battery impedance Measurement. Preparation of report with recommendation and comments.
