Job duration: From July 2015 till date.
Job Responsibilities
Logistics Operation for Machine (Trucks & Cranes), Engine, Genset & Forklift for Caterpillar & Non Caterpillar products
Coordinating with Order processing team for new orders.
Checking sailing frequency of different carriers and prepare complete freight rate comparison / analysis of RORO and container shipments.
Negotiating Freight with Shipping Company.
Planning in advance for vessel booking
Follow up with supplier / forwarder to arrange shipments (based on the sailing schedule provided by the forwarders)
Confirm Shipping documents (Packing List, Invoice, COO & BL) to forwarder / Supplier
Follow up with forwarder until the units arrive at the port.
Checking shipping documents and maintaining the track list register.
Making necessary amendment on shipping documents if required and send them to concerned branch.
Arrangement of special documentation for duty exempt customers
Coordinating with Shipping Line for Airfreight & Sea Freight quotes.
Apply Insurance for Each shipment.
Maintain the record of vessel sailing schedules, freight rates, Local shipping agents and freight forwarder and supplier contacts.
Dispute/Discrepancies Resolutions
Prepares standard shipping Instructions as per customer and GCC requirements.
Payments settlement for Freight invoices
Weekly Report
Introduce Hutchison Ajman Port Service to our Company where Ajman Port reimburse 2% duty on Container Shipment & 2.25% on RORO shipment.
o Arrange all UAE (Jebel Ali & Mina Khalifa Port) Container shipment to Ajman Port.
o Coordinating with Hutchison Ajman Port team for clearing the shipment from Ajman Port.
o If required arrange the Customs Inspection.
o Coordinating with Hutchison Ajman Port - Transport team to deliver the Container to our Yard (Sharjah & Abu Dhabi)
o Follow up/Request with the Ajman Port for amendment (BOE, VCC, Makassa & Port Invoice)
o Arrange Makassa for Re-Export shipment.
o Maintaining record of each shipment in Excel Sheet.
o Follow up for the Ajman Port Invoices.
o Make arrangements to settle the payments (Port Invoices) with accounts
o After the Settlement of S.O.A. of Hutchison Ajman Port, follow-up for the Duty Reimbursement for both shipment (Container & Roro).
o Submit detail report to finance team of Reimbursement amount (Allocation of duty)
Job Responsibilities
I - Banking Facilities
Handling Bank Facilities for NBF, ENBD, ADCB, UAB, HSBC, CBI, BSI.
Bank Facility includes:
Letter of Credit : Import Sight, Import Usance, Local Sight, Local Usance
Import Trust Receipt Loan : Direct Import, Local Delivery, TR Loan Against LC,
TR Acceptance, TR-Collection, Cash Advance.
Local Bill Discounting
II - Documentation for Banking Facilities
Preparing Document for L/C, TR, LBD
Making necessary amendment in L/C as and when required.
Preparing document such as Invoice, Packing List, and Certificate of Origin & Shipment Advice.
Coordinate with Banker & Trade Finance.
Clearing Import & Export L/C document from Bank.
III - Logistics
Coordinating with Shipping Line for Quotation & booking container.
Negotiating Shipping Rates with Shipping Company
Coordinating with Supplier for Loading
Coordinating with shipping company for material Pickup & delivery
Preparing Goods Declaration & Certificate of Origin
Preparing Invoice & Packing List.
Preparing Switch Bill.
Preparing Bill of Lading Instruction.
Carrying out 3rd Party Inspection
Clearing Good from the Port
IV - Administrative
Preparing Job Order
Prepare file for each Job Order & file the relevant document in each file.
Encashing & Depositing Cheque to Banks
Handling Telex Transfer (TT)
Coordinating with suppliers & Customers
Preparing Schedule for Shipment
Daily Entries in FocusV7 (As per Bank Statement)
Monthly Bank Facilities reconciliation.
Submitting Weekly Report to President.

Preparing Invoice, Packing List & Delivery Order.
Preparing Check List, Test Certificate & Warranty Certificate.
Preparing Switch Bill.
Coordinating with Shipping Line for Quotation & booking container.
Clearing Good from the Port
Carrying out 3rd Party Inspection for the Customers.
Arrangement of Deliveries.
Importing Goods From UK, France, China, Lebanon & India
Exporting Goods to Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Uganda, Congo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Kazakhstan.
II - Letter of Credit
Opening L/C from City Bank, HSBC, Emirates Bank, Invest Bank
Making necessary amendment in L/C as and when required.
Preparing L/C document such as Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin
Clearing Import & Export L/C document from Bank.
III - Administrative & Warehouse
Preparing Job Order.
Maintaining the availability of Stocks
Manage and Assign day to day production activities & carry out inspection of finish product for quality check.
Supervising & monitoring movement of stock with in plant.
Coordinating with Auditors
Handling purchase for Specific Product
Submit day to day report to GM
