MTPY brownfield expansion of Mosaic Potash Colonsay in Saskatoon
Canada. This expansion will increase the existing plant capacity to 3.0
million ton per year. Involved in FEL2, FEL3 and FEL4 phase of the project to defined scope of project, developed SySCAD model, Mass and Energy Balance, developed Block Flow Diagram, Design Basis,
developed and reviewed process flow diagrams, reviewed process
design criteria, reviewed process equipment list, developed and reviewed Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, calculate and reviewed
utility requirements including raw water, process water, cooling water,
instrument and plant air, reviewed functional specification, line sizing,
designed and reviewed plant emission control system, prepared budget and schedule, liaison with clients and other engineering groups,
supervised other seniors and juniors process engineers, participate and review project cost estimate, schedule review. As well input to other
discipline. Unit operations involved in this project are row ore storage,
crushing and screening, de-sliming, classification, flotation, leaching,

High Rate Washers, High Rate Thickeners, Flocculant preparation and dosing area, as well as Residue disposal, clear lake water and split lake
water area. Developed utility drawing of fire and Hose water,
condensate water, packing water (high and low pressure), potable
water, Purge water and caustic. Prepared basis of design and process
design criteria documents of EC and HEC, Flocculant, Washers and
Thickeners, and Lake water distribution. Prepared documents and
P&ID's for acid cleaning of live and flash steam heaters, caustic
cleaning of washers and thickeners. Helped to prepare PLC sequence for automated acid cleaning loop. Involved in equipments, pumps, pipes and valves sizing. Responsible and provided input for HAZAN and
