Generates the required material and subcontractor logs to meet the Procurement
plan approved by Procurement Manager.
Review & Evaluate all MEP Sub Contractor and Suppliers Proposals to ensure complete scope of work & commercial requirements are is in line with Project scope and Client requirements and Technical specification.
Study the Contract Documents to become thoroughly acquainted with exact
requirements and specifications.
Prepare tendering documents and relative correspondences as RFQ.
Reply tendered queries to ensure that all data required for tendering are available and clear.
Procure all Major MEP Materials in line with job requirements and Project Specification.
Review all MEP Technical Submittals before submitting to Consultant for Final Approval.
Receive and analyze vendor offers comparing to specifications and cost Budget and recommending the winner to management for final approval
Coordinate the Purchase team for MEP Material Purchasing.
Evaluates overall revisions, price and past performance of each contract.
Negotiate with vendors prices and contract conditions in order to meet projects constrains such as quality, time, scope, Cash flow and budget.
Approves bid proposal and presents recommendations requiring management approval.
Issue Letter of Confirmation, subcontract or supply agreement to the successful bidder. Drafted Special conditions and general conditions of contract for each scope of work as per main contractor condition.
Manage Kick up meetings with MEP Sub Contractor in liaison with MEP Project Manager.
Site Coordination between different MEP Sub Contractors.
Manages the process of Construction, Planning and Cost Control in developing the
Job Budget and schedules.
Ensures all required operational and maintenance manuals, spare parts lists, and
guarantees are delivered to QA/QC during job hand over
To co-ordinate all project procurement activities, engineered either in-house or by Subcontractors
Overlooking all the procurement activities for the project, coordinating, Site meetings, monitoring time and sequence of procurement activities in line with schedule and delivery programs.
Review draft tender Electromechanical documents to ensure all required systems components of the tender are included e. g BMS, MV, LV, Power distribution, Lighting system, Fire Alarm, CCTV, UPS system, Public Address, Nurse Call System, Solar Photovoltaic ., Fire detection, fire protection, plumbing etc.
Gathering Technical Specifications & Requirements of Client, System Design & Design of Complete Electrical System Philosophy for the project.
Prepare tender documentation queries to consultants/clients to confirm and collect any missing data.
Develop tender cost summaries including equipment, materials and labour calculations for final approval.
Interpret & review system drawings to identify any difference to tender requirements and raise queries against specification.
Review and generate Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure alignment and to identify materials types & quantities and prepare equipment lists and rough drawings for cost estimation.
Interpret and follow Company tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards
Prepare documents to submit to subcontractors & suppliers for quotations of cost/price of materials and equipment and evaluate same against tender specifications to include in final tender documentation
Build relationships and liaise with internal customers and external suppliers and vendors and manage daily correspondence for quantities, costs and specifications.
Arrange & review technically and commercially the quote for all Materials /services/subcontractor involved.
Communicates and liaise effectively with Management, colleagues and architects, subcontractors, consultants and concerns for the project.
Prepare reports and supporting documents to submit to Estimation Manager to identify areas requiring more information to ensure the Company is positioned to win and secure bids
Compare tender and shop drawings to identify variations; record these variations in accordance with the agreed site procedure.
Identify variations to the original scope of works and any opportunity for additional recovery from the client. Raise PVO requests for approval by the line manager.
Develop alternate technical proposal /Value Engineering as per Bid requirements and value engineering.
Preparing Materials Technical Submittal for the Consultant’s Approval.
Evaluate vendors’ proposals technically in compliance with project specifications and Client Requirement.
Design review as per Local Authority Requirement.
Managing of Load in Buildings, Ware House and Shed Etc.
Designing Load Schedules, Single Line Diagrams.
Supervision of Preparing Shop Drawings for approval.
Coordination and Supervision of Drafting Team for the working Drawings.
Preparation the Bills of Quantities and Cost Estimation for the High Rise Buildings, Malls and Residential Villas.
Studied contract document to become fully knowledge of project requirement and specification.
Tendering the Jobs and also Reviewing Tender Documents Such as Scope of Work and Specification.
Review and evaluation of technical submittals with respect to project requirement, requirements of authorities and slandered practice for submission to client /authorities.
Initiate, discuss and finalize technical difficulties of proposal with contractor /clients.
Designing Single Line Diagrams, Load Schedules, Power Layouts and Lighting Layouts etc, according to Dubai Electricity &Water Authority (DEWA), SEWA and FEWA regulations and concerned bodies’ Specification.
Designing Low Current Drawings.
Sizing Circuit Breaker, Cables and Load Calculation.
Preparation of Drawings (Work Shop and As Built) via Auto CAD.
Liaising with others in the Design/Drafting Team.
Monthly Progress Reports For the running jobs.
Variations Bills and Work Progress billing For the Running jobs.
Liaising with Suppliers, Clients and Sub Contractors.
Manage & Record all the Technical Files in the Head Office for all the Projects.
Visit the Sites & Coordinating Site Activities with Managing Director, Manager Administration, Site Engineers, Foremen and other staff.
