• Designed, planned and executed factory expansion projects to install new production lines for Breadsticks (Italy) and extruded Corn Snacks (USA)

• Coaching, developing and leading all direct reports for successful application of Lean Manufacturing within the site maintenance team both structurally and culturally.
• Enhance the inventory plan and install food safety systems including chocolate filters, entoleters and sifters, support the UBI team during launch of McVitie’s Digestive Bars for MENA.
• Control costs of engineering stores and assist site engineering manager to operate the monthly R&M budget of 200k SAR, prepare and execute the annual shutdown plan.
• Deliver cost efficient project proposals for expansion of facilities, upgrade of obsolete equipment to increase production capacity and ensure all company policies on health & safety are implemented.
• Perform maintenance activities to meet the onsite demands, ensure the availability of equipment as per production plans, and manage the capex projects, annual capex budget of 10 million.
• Work on web based CMMS system PIRANA to implement fully integrated preventive maintenance system and to observe and monitor the performance of engineering.
• Set up Blow mould machine BBM-250 by BBM MASCHINENBAU UND VERTRIEBS GMBH for making UN Certified 220l Drums, planned and installed the film line Varex by WINDMULLER.
• Skillfully installed two Milacron Omega 775 injection molding machines and fixed KOWIN recycling system and upgraded Erema recycling system to increase capacity from 6MT to 11MT per day in 72 hours.
• Increased 50% capacity by upgrading Battenfeld Fischer Blow-mold 210/220l drum machine.
• Implemented comprehensive machine/mold preventive maintenance system and thermal imaging electrical systems, led a maintenance team to minimize breakdown time and increase efficiency.
• Handled all maintenance activities for 4 separate plants which produced plasticizing capacity of more than 3000 MT/month, successfully reduced extrusion factory breakdown hours by 50%.
• Delivered cost efficient project proposals for expansion of facilities, upgraded obsolete equipment to increase production, arranged annual capex plan of 30 million with plant manager and F.G.M.
• Prepared and controlled maintenance costs, reviewed total budget of 400k SAR for engineering department on monthly basis and reviewed P&L sheet.
Monitored the Huawei DWDM Network of Pakistan using OPTIX iManager T2000
Successful completion of electrical shaft design for water pumping station run by windmill. (MSc Project Grade A) and 5 A's in a total of 8 subjects.
