 Perform and oversee IT Audit, Advisory, Project Management, Consultancy and Digital
Forensics assignments for clients.
 Ensure the firm and clients are compliant with risk management procedures. Participate
in risk identification and assessment, documenting and reporting the results to
management.
 Act as a major point of contact within the firm for client engagement, including
responding to client requests/needs, keeping them informed of progress in relation to
the services being provided.
 Responsible for the information technology management of a portfolio of clients,
complete audit assignments within agreed budgets and timescales.
 Identify new business and sales opportunities with existing as well as prospective clients,
and supporting the firm in the development of new business relationships and business
proposals.
 Support partners with the implementation and communication of any new business
strategy for existing clients, target clients and the internal business.
 Recruit, supervise and provide leadership to team members.
 Work as part of management team with other Audit Managers in areas such as resource
planning and efficiency gains.
 Develop and maintain technology policies, standards and procedures manual; develops
and maintains related technology checklists.
 Manage technology inventory to include procurement and disposal.
 Develop annual technology goals and detailed plans for goal accomplishment.
 Ensure the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the
organization.
 Develop and manage technology budget, monitoring and approving related expenditures.
 Assist staff in understanding and using technology; conducting regular staff technology
presentations and trainings.
 Analyse technology requirements and developing functional specifications.

 Maintaining existing and installing new security related hardware and software
 Monitoring anti-virus server deployment and updates.
 Structuring and implementing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans as well as
carrying out regular tests to guarantee data recovery.
 Maintenance and administration of company in-house LAN infrastructure, e-mail,
security, internet access, website and office suites.
 Ensuring appropriate network security, monitoring network utilization and initiating
appropriate action to correct adverse trends or network traffic situations
 Upgrading, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining all network servers and devices
 Performing backups.
 Coordinating annual and ad hoc auditing processes and developing action plans and
reports based on these audit findings.
 Oracle 8i Database administration and maintenance.
 Ensuring LAN and WAN availability to all system users and performing necessary
maintenance to support network availability.
 Business Applications Support for FLEXCUBE, BUSINESS OBJECTS, TRACK IT, SWIFT and
Perago RTGS.
 Helpdesk and Business Applications Support which includes standby, on-call and after
hours’ support.
 End of Day and Month End system processing for FLEXCUBE and BUSINESS OBJECTS.
 Windows Server and UNIX maintenance and administration.
 Supervision and training of students on Industrial Attachment.
 Providing information about and monitoring systems\application performance. Act
as first point of reference in cases of application failure or downtime.
 Controlling and monitoring use of IT consumables.
 Supervising a n d coordinating activities of contractors, c onsultantsand all
service providers.
 Development of training material and carrying out user training in the effective use of
applications and on new features on the system.
 Assisting with the development of the information security strategy and implementation
of plans and controls that comply with international best practices.

Network troubleshooting.
 Software installations.
 Manning the Help Desk and attending to all queries.
 Hardware troubleshooting and performing all repairs.
 Running daily End of Day processing for the core banking system (Flex Cube) and
performing database backups
 User hardware, network and software support.
 Monitoring the inventory of I.T consumables including purchasing and issuing out to users.
 Preparing weekly system availability reports.
 Ensuring relevant coaching, tutoring and provision of information to all users.
 Recording software license details and associated software maintenance agreements so
that the software register can be updated. Ensure legality of license allocations.
 Effecting software upgrades and interfaces and carrying out user training on new
features.
