I am in charge of managing office assets such as ensuring the availability of office goods. Besides, I have a responsibility to prepare a report of assets and goods of sub district office to the district assets management agency regularly by using application of accrual inventory accounting system. Also, I play a role of preparing an annual report of sub district assets inventory and assets inventory depreciation. Furthermore, I am also in charge in setting the planning of need and maintenance of goods for the following year. Also, I am responsible in sub district goods and assets procurement in purchasing, receiving, storing and distribution.
Preparing budgeting general policy report of Aceh Besar District. This is important to give a general reference for any assumption changes of general policy of region expense and income planning. The report would be used by government to make an adjustment on expense projection. Besides, I also had to prepare a temporary budgeting priorities report of Aceh Besar District as a basis and a reference in setting up the changing of working plan of government institutions. The report was used to match the income and the expense of government.
Furthermore, I was also in charge in recapitulating the government institutions programs of Aceh Besar District so that will ease the government in managing and controlling the programs based on the financial availability.
- As staff of implementation unit of GIS, I was responsible for doing the mapping of district area for setting up spatial data basis that will be used by all government institutions for region development planning. Besides, as a team, we also conducted coordination with geospatial data center in province level and other districts and also with national mapping and survey coordination agency in order to map and for spatial data correction. For that reason, we did survey regularly to update the spatial data that will benefit other institutions to run their field activities.
- Conducting a research and preparing a report for Environmental Health Risk Assessment (EHRA) program.
This activity was assisted by consultants from Jakarta and aimed to collect the information regarding sanitation condition in residential area. Hundreds of villages were covered with different level of sanitation conditions. Collected data was processed and analyzed with SPSS software. As result, I produced a comprehensive proposal to improve the residential sanitation condition.
- Providing GIS training.
We were also invited by institutions from other districts to train their staff to run GIS software in order to ease their work in running their geospatial activities.
Conducting demand - supply analysis in steel and logistic by doing direct survey to suppliers in some districts in western part of Aceh province, Indonesia. The result of this activity was providing data and recommendation to International NGO and shareholders in the tsunami relief operations for reconstruction and rehabilitation of houses, facilities, infrastructures, so on and so forth.
I was involved in community development program and also played a role as interpreter to mediate the communication between villagers and foreign staffs of the NGO. We also conducted visiting to tsunami-affected villages in Seunuddon, North Aceh for collecting data regarding the relief’s needed by villagers through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). As result, we provided houses for villagers and improved the villagers’ sanitation. Besides, we also provided boats for fishermen and also conducted handycrafts training for women to provide a new job opportunity and to increase their income.
Collecting data of land price in Jakarta. The data is used as the pricing basis for land acquisition of the government’s project in the future. Also, it is useful for citizen, property developer and investor as reference for land purchasing as asset. The team succeeded to accumulate land price data of 267 villages in Jakarta within 3 months. then, the data was processed and analyzed with GIS software to be presented in digital mapping.
