a. Development and implementation of strategies and tools for ongoing project monitoring and evaluation, including risk and emergency management, benefit realization and impact and project quality measures to identify and address problems and evaluate project progress and effectiveness.
b. provide leadership, innovation, and oversight for the data analytics function to produce the data sets required to inform and develop insights and strategies for operational and business initiatives.
c. Organise and integrate various data sets from multiple sources as per business requirements and made that more acceptable, useable and understandable.
d. Maintaining contact with customers, particularly inthe defense sector, and developing strong working relationships.
e. Make strategic decisions and provide project managers with leadership and direction in implementing those decisions.
f. Meetings with customers, prospects and project managers to report on the progress of the project.
g Develop cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion.
h. Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards.
i. Ensure that the appropriate financial management, procurement, administration, human resources and logistical requirements of the program are performed within company policies.
Military College of Signals (MCS) is an academic campus of National University of Science and Technology (NUST), which is the top ranking university of Pakistan. NUST proudly stands at 355 in the world, 83 among Asian universities and 1 in Pakistan. NUST has accomplished this feat as per the World University Rankings 2023 announced on June 8 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) - a prestigious UK-based ranking agency. As Manager IT and Data Centre I am mainly responsible for the followings: -
a. Planned, developed and deployed various data models for better visualisation and understanding.
b. Constructed data sets to analyze, inform, identify trends, and support stakeholder decision-making.
c. Built processing capacity and team to support projects using statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis.
d. Conducted trainings on contemporary data analysing tools/ software that includes Power BI, SQL/ DAX, tableau etc.
Served twice in Military college of Signals (NUST) as faculty member and have been involved in teaching and have the honour to teach following subjects in Electrical Engineering department:
• Digital Signal Processing
• Digital Logic Design
• Electrical Network Analysis
• Linear Circuit Analysis
• Signal and Systems
• Electronic Circuit Design
b. In addition to the instructional duties, I have been deeply involved in following activities as and when required by the Dean or Chief Instructor.
• In military college of signals have been detailed as president of committee for preparation of Self Assessment Report (SAR) working on criterion faculty and support staff.
• Carried complete revision of the complete document “Programme Evaluation Worksheet” drafted to evaluate and implement all accreditation criteria.
• Have been actively involved in the evaluation and compliance of Program Educational Objectives issued by Pakistan Engineering Council in the form of Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and Cognitive Learning Outcomes (CLOs) by employing appropriate direct / indirect methods.
• Have been actively participating in organizing the major events like annual convocation 2018 and 2nd International Conference on Communications Technologies (ComTech-2019) held at MCS Rawalpindi. • Have been briefing the students and newly inducted faculty members to the OBE fundaments and their implementation.
• Assisting the head of the department in organizing routine conferences at department level, preparation of results coordination with other departments and other miscellaneous activities.
• Have been doing duties of President Examination, responsible for conduct of examination (Sessional/Annual Exams, I-Grade) issuance and submission of question papers and answer book.
