Mechanical Engineer (Inspector)
- Direct supervision of contractor & coordination with various engineering disciplines throughout all construction projects to ensure handover in the best quality and timely manner.
- Supervision of installation & Replacement of WHCP & SSV’s projects for over 30 wells.
- Attended commissioning and handover of 5 water clusters.
- Ensure works are conducted in accordance with set safety requirements and quality requirements and in line with contract specifications (Shell DEP/ ASME/ API/ Company specs, etc.)
- Adjust work schedules to accommodate urgent work and follow up receipt of work orders upon completion.
- Participation in handing over completed facilities to user departments and final acceptance of facilities from contractor.
- Engineering and commissioning of:
• Teeba ammonia Plant.
• Jordan Poultry (CO2/NH3 Plant).
• Pumping station, cooling tower & heat exchanger system for numerous plants.
- Detailed design of:
• Various HVAC and Ducting systems.
• Large selection of compressors & pumps.
• Hi pressure CO2 gas lines for central cooling systems.
- Generation of AUTOCAD drawings
- Managed the constant availability of adequate manpower, materials, spares, tools and equipment
- Reviewed technical drawings and implemented HVAC systems on site as per client’s request.
- Conducted weekly meetings with the client and several disciplines to ensure delivery of project and product in a timely manner.
- Procured related materials to the product, and managed the procurement process.
- Directed various SAT and final commissioning for the products erected on site.
- Insured availability and operability of all workshop machines and equipment. Liaises with the Work Planning personnel to guarantee timely updates and delivery of related maintenance activities
- Supervision, maintenance & installation of:
• Central A\C & plumbing work for 80 villas & 2 towers.
• 3 Pump stations for SHARJA municipality & sea water treatment plant.
- Major coordination between various engineering disciplines.
- Preparation of As-Built drawings.
- Supervision and execution of day to day preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to boilers, pumps, fire alarm devices, water treatment equipment, and air conditioning.
