Saudi Oger is a major contractor for maintenance and technical support at
KAUST.
Work Description:
" To have an extensive discussion with students and researchers to conceive technical
requirements of their ideas.
" To determine the manufacturing possibilities and prepare 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings
according to GD&T standards to execute work.
" Analyze designs to validate and foresee results by using Simulations FEA, Flow analysis and
DFM methods/ tools prior to manufacturing.
" Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and Raise MR for required materials and tools if not available in
stocks
" Admins and maintain the all design data for easy access to all CAD users.
" Conducts and Participates in Technical Training Programs for Researcher,
students and Workshop Staff.
" Determines training objectives and evaluate Trainees' performance.
" New Employee Induction and Training.
" Helping and giving guide lines to machine operators/ fabricators at CNC/
conventional machines and bench work.
" Involved in Time management and Cost estimation.
" Collaborate and coordinate with others Core Labs when required.
" In charge of 3D printing section.
