As a Financial Controller, the following would be some of the key responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Internal Controls: Oversee internal controls to ensure the protection of the company's assets and accurate financial reporting, and execute internal audit assignments as required.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations, and manage tax components including sales, corporate, withholding, and capital gains tax.
External Audit: Manage the external audit process, including coordinating with auditors, resolving issues that arise during the audit, and ensuring the timely completion of audits.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations for enhancing financial performance.
Team Management: Lead and manage a team of finance and accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
Business Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the company's financial performance, including product profitability and budget variance analysis.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of changes in financial regulations and legislation and ensure that the company is in compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
Strategic Financial Planning: Partner with the senior management team to develop and implement long-term financial strategies that support the company's growth and success.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, lenders, and regulatory agencies, to ensure the company's financial health and stability.
• Independently manage migration from server based to cloud based accounting system ensuring compliance with ISA, GAAP & IFRS’s.
• Ensure timely preparation of all financial reports and reduce decision making time of management.
• Improve the procure to pay and order to cash cycles in turn increasing the working capital efficiency.
