• Communicate information on the QHSE Management System throughout the organization and promotes HSE awareness through various communication channels i.e. TBT, inductions, training, campaigns, flyers, discussions, emails etc. in consultation with all relevant departments.
• Prepare QHSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements and in consultation with the Venue Operation team.
• Undertake QHSE inspections internally and with third parties (contractors) as per the approved inspection program of the company during buildup and teardown of temporary event structures. Follows up on the preventive and / or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitor the timely closing of the actions in coordination with other departments.
• Develop, facilitate and review QHSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the operation team.
• Record QHSE key performance indicators on a monthly basis and issue reports as necessary. Suggest and advise changes to ensure continuous improvement on any additional effective KPIs to be added in the system as part of continual improvement.
• Develop, implements and encourages the behavioral based safety culture in the organization through safe job observations and top management inspections.
• Perform daily walk throughs in DEC facilities to monitor and promote a safe workplace.
• Delegate, Supervise and Support other QHSE staff and contract managers as and when required.
• Actively participate in the HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports in consultation with management.
• Diligently performs any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of Venue and Operations manager.
• Developed the HSE Plan, Environmental and Waste Management Plan for the project in line with Expo Assurance standards and submitted to Consultant for approval.
• Implemented the safety guidelines as per the project HSE Plan and Expo minimum assurance standards at the project site.
• Assisted supervisors in conducting daily activity briefs before start of shift.
• Monitored site activities to ensure they are performed according to the company's HSE program and Expo 2020 Assurance Standards through regular inspections and internal audit.
• Leased with Consultant Safety Manager on safety walkthroughs, and any other safety issues.
• Monitored MSDS and developed COSHH Assessment for all chemicals used for the project.
• Conducted TBT, safety trainings and awareness campaigns and communicated the Expo Promises to workforce and even to site visitors.
• Conducted regular inspection of power tools, Scaffoldings, ladders, electrical equipment, etc.

• Appointed as Fire Safety Coordinator and assisted the HSE Manager in conducting Fire Evacuation Mock Drill.

• Conducted Project Safety Induction for the new staff and keeping the Project Inductions records for reference purpose on regular basics.
• Conducted Tool box Talks and Safety Briefing on regular basic and especially whenever more hazardous equipment is introduced into the Project.
• Scaffold erection / dismantling work, confined space entries, crane work / lifting operations, hot work, and similar hazardous activities and ensures that all relevant requirements are complied with.
• Monitored MSDS and hazards communication compliance of all projects materials.
• Assisted in organizing training program for Staffed personnel, subcontractor as well as Competency Certificate for operators.
• Removal of industrial wastage and combustible items as per hazardous waste management plan.
• Inspected and periodical ensured maintenance of Safety and firefighting equipment.
• Made sure Cranes, equipments and operators have valid license or Competency Certificate from Approved third Party.
• Investigated Near Misses/ incidents and reporting to Site and Safety Managers.
• Inspected Portable ladders, Moving and Fixed Scaffolds and making sure they are well erected and are in good condition with appropriate Tag.
• Monitored site daily housekeeping and workers /staffs HSE conformity.
• Awarded as one of the best HSE Officer in 2013.
