• Accountable for the budget, timeline, scope and overall project implementation in the assigned districts of Punjab.
• Ensure that all HR related requirements of Facilitation Centre are being met in a timely manner, while also overseeing the functioning of a grievance addressal mechanism.
• Lead the implementation of the project activities as per the agreed work plan and the donor contract. Lead the development of a DIP (Detailed Implementation Plan) for the project and continuously updating it for changes if any, and to record the progress.
• Keep regular over-review of the detailed implementation plan to monitor operational and programmatic aspects of projects.
• Ensure that programmatic & financial reports are produced and submitted to relevant sections within the country office well in time.
• Remain vigilant on compliance and legal requirements in connection with the project activities.
• Lead accurate data collection system, monitor data for accuracy, and respond appropriately with programmatic changes as needed to meet targets.
• Responsible for contract management with vendors/contractors by ensuring adherence to QC policies and procedures in close coordination with relevant departments in the country office.
• Conduct regular visit of project districts for firsthand knowledge of the issues, challenges and immediate resolution.
• Represent QC at all project related coordination meetings.
• Establish and maintain good relationships strong & linkages with IRMNCH, WFP, Civil Society Organizations, and other stakeholders in Punjab within the framework of BISP Nashonuma Program.
• Seek periodic endorsements from IRMNCH on all project activities.
• Maintain operational and strategic level coordination with WFP on day-today management of the project activities.
• Establish and maintain partnering relationships (funded & non-funded) with the relevant government departments, donors, UN agencies, and civil society organizations working on health and nutrition.
• Remain flexible to adapt and learn from others according to the contextual requirements and the needs of the project.

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the
flawless execution of projects.

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within
budget.

Supervises the technical work in nutrition interventions and provides
adequate constructive feedback and render technical support to
project / partner teams.

Ensure that the technical protocols, manuals, guidelines and forms
used in the field are consistent to nutrition programming protocols
and in line with national guidelines.

Plan, with local partners, and lead appropriate assessments of
nutrition needs and capacities in target areas. Analyze assessment
data and synthesize findings in the form of concise and timely reports
with clear recommendations.

Take lead in devising targeting strategy for CMAM activities in
intervention areas in consultation with nutrition stakeholder for
effective nutrition outcomes and impacts.

Work closely with other sector teams in developing SOPs for
integrated work modalities to ensure holistic support to food insecure
families that result in greater nutrition outcomes.

Orient partner organizations and staff not engaged in direct nutrition
programming on nutrition activities (EFSL, WASH & EDU actors)

Assess, design and implement appropriate training programs to
equip and upgrade knowledge and skills of project/ partner teams in
the field.


Plan, coordinate, implement, supervise/monitor and report activities of
allocated districts and develop communication network for this
purpose in coordination with concerned District Health Officers, PM
KP SPRING, district level other line departments of respective district,
and WFP.

Keep effective liaison with local health institutions, key district
stakeholders, health authorities and partners in the implementation of
the nutrition project in district.

Plan, develop and undertake need based capacity building trainings in
close collaboration with concerned district & provide technical
assistance for implementation to the target health facilities within the
district.

Plan and ensure adequate nutrition supplies are available and
regularly replenished at the target health facilities in the district.

Mobilize, coordinate and supervise/monitor nutrition related field
activities of the project staff (Nutrition Assistants), SFP attendants,
healthcare providers at the facility level (MOs/LHVs/FMTs) and Health
Workers at the community level (LHWs/LHSs) and partner
organizations \[I/NGOs\] involved in the implementation of Nutrition
program in the target health facilities.

Undertake field visits as per approved plan on a regular basis develop
strategies and recommendations for improvement in the nutrition
program.

Conduct/facilitate nutritional assessment surveys as and when
needed in catchments of the target health facilities.

Collect data regularly through system-generated documents (MIS etc)
and report it concern authorities.

Implement the project of Adolescent Girls (provision of
IFA/Deworming Tablets) through Health care Providers and as per
guidelines provided by PM-KP SPRING and WFP.



Assessing and improving school meal of the students through
nutrition awareness sessions.

Distribute MMS to all students (female & male) in assigned schools
for home fortification on monthly basis.

Educate all students (m & f) in assigned schools on benefits of
deworming and use of MMS.

Monitor processes and impact of the interventions in the assigned
schools on regular basis.

Conduct healthy food preparation, cooking
demonstrations/competitions for adolescents’ girls in assigned
middle and high schools.

Carryout joint school visit along with concerned Assistant
Sub-Divisional Education Officers (ASDEOs)/Cluster In-charges


Responsible to monitor COMNet staff/ Non COMNet staff based on
given indicators and will report to their respective provincial
coordinator / District Forum.

Responsible to Validate the Micro plan of UCs, attend team trainings
UCs, UPEC Meeting at UC level and DPEC meeting at District Level
under the Chairmanship of UPEC Chairman & Deputy Commissioner

Worked as a Supervisor for Monitoring in Nutrition Project titled
“CMAM/IYCF” funded by UNWFP. The project activities is focusing on
addressing prevailing acute malnutrition amongst children6-59months of
age and pregnant and lactating women in the target locations of 10 union
councils of District Shangla.

Worked as a Team leader in Nutrition Project titled “CMAM/IYCF” funded by
UNICEF. The project activities are focusing on addressing prevailing acute
malnutrition amongst children6-59months of age and pregnant and
lactating women in the target locations of 10 union councils of District
Peshawar. The main responsibilities are:

Attaining the appropriate knowledge of working area, community,
key stakeholders, local nutritious meals, high density recipes and
complementary foods.

Attaining the appropriate knowledge of anthropometry/health
hygiene, SFP, OTP, SC and overall CMAM/IYCF protocols

Ensuring timely reporting of all weekly/monthly events.

Motivating all CMAM and DoH HCP’s in the allocated UC’s.

Ensuring the provision of adequate nutritional care and treatment for
children (6 to 59 months), target PLW suffering from acute
malnutrition through community and facility based nutritional
management approach in the allocated UCs.
