WORK EXPERIENCE
• To act as the Project leader for the assigned area and control all aspects of the MEP - Electrical works including resource planning and monitoring, administration, engineering, procurement, execution, documentation, Quality assurance, logistics control, safety compliance, etc.
• Study the tender/for construction documents (electrical and related disciplines) in detail and develop a clear understanding of scope, details, and responsibilities.
• Coordinate & liaise with the main contractor, consultants, suppliers, third-party specialists, and other sub-contractors and attend daily/weekly coordination meetings.
• Responsible for protecting/maintaining the company's interests in terms of commercial, technical, quality & safety aspects to the highest standards
• Manage the site staff and lead the team imparting clear objectives and motivation to achieve targeted results.
• Manage the day-to-day site activities including implementation of method statements review of material requisitions, material management, housekeeping, etc.
• Maintain a good understanding of project priorities & programs and plan weekly/daily work allocations effectively to optimize operating costs.
• Ensure that works are done safely and as per approved drawings/ schematics/ specifications and carry out all related documentation as per the project requirements.
• Ensure that all works are Installed, tested, and commissioned as per the project requirements, and results are recorded, inspected, and approved by consultants.
• Represent the firm in a professional manner, enhancing client's, consultant's and main contractor's confidence and respect, and furthering relationships for the goal of repeat work or referrals.
• Preparation and presentation of work progress report on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Coordinating & advising the Design team for drawings updating, submittal & approval based on the site condition.
• Reviewing, advising and finalization of Project deliverables such as Authority approved documents, As-built drawings, training schedules, O&M manuals, Warranties, Spare parts, Special tools, Software, Door & Equipment keys as per the Project specification, contract, and requirements of facility operation & management team.
• Snagging, De-snagging & Punch List comments closures.
• Overall Execution, Monitoring, and Closeout for the given task.
TECHNICAL EXPOSURE
• Overall Installation of LV Power Distributions, Lighting & Small Power systems including containment, cabling, and final device installation/termination.
• Installation of LV & ELV Panels & Bus ducts.
• Installation of Cable Tray, Cable Trunking, Cable Ladder, Conduit.
• Installation / Laying of MV, LV & ELV cables and Building wires.
• LV cable Glanding and Termination, FDB wire dressing, and termination.
• Installation of ELV Fire Alarm, Public Address & Voice Evacuation, Air Smoke Detection, Video Smoke Detection, Lead Heat detection, Central Battery, Security CCTV, ANPR, Access Control, Intercom, Telecom - Structured cabling, BMS, Lighting Control, CPMS system including containment, cabling, and final device installation/termination.
• Pre-commissioning of ELV Systems.
• Fire & Life Safety System Cause & Effect testing.
• Basic knowledge & understanding of MEP-Mechanical systems.
