PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN AT THIS COMPANY:
Rural Health Infrastructure Project (RHIP), is a multi billion pesos foreign funded project finance by World Bank, JBIC and the Government of the Philippines, the purpose of which was to improve the healthcare system in the 23 impoverished provinces Philippines. The projects had two phases. The first phase was the improvement of healthcare system and the second phase was the construction and repair of rural health center buildings.
The second phase which is the rural health center building program was being managed by a foreign consultant with an agreement between the lending institutions, Government of the Philippines, Department of Health, National Economic Development Authority, and the Local Government Unit to which the project had been implemented. The consultant had a base in the Philippines, in which they hire some engineers to assists the implementation of the projects.
When I’m under the consultant, our schedules were very rigid, and hectic, because we were trained to accomplish the targets that were given to us on time. We were also trained how to handle and manage numerous projects using the latest technology. Our communication system was also improved ranging from drafting of letters to public speeches. With all these skills that I had in almost 5 years of my employment, numerous school buildings were being repaired and constructed
