All administrative duties;Telephone, email and other communications with stake holders;Attending to enquiries regarding commerce between South Africa and Czech Republic and forwarding same to Commercial Attaché;Compile data base of Czech and South African companies seeking business opportunities and their inquiries;Arranging and diarising of meetings;Research (National Budgets of accredited countries);Attending of meetings and presentations with business partners and stake holders;Taking notes and drafting of minutes of the meeting and distributing same to relevant parties;Research relating to projects;Project management of humanitarian aid projects by Czech Humanitarian Aid;
Monitoring of local and international political affairs and events;
Drafting of analysis for presentation to Political Counselor and/or Ambassador;Meetings with Political Counselor for presentation of analysis;Research regarding relevant topics and presentation thereof to Political Counselor;Visa and Consular affairs:
Assist in Visa section with handling of applications, queries, payments, groups;Assist Czech Nationals in times of crisis, such as hospitalization in and outside of South Africa, death of a family member, arrangements for remains to be returned to the Czech Republic for burial purposes;Diarising and organising of Ambassador’s and Deputy Head of Mission’s functions and travelling schedules;Manage logistics protocol of Ambassador and Deputy Head of Mission;Accompany Deputy to UN seminars
Arranging of security and diplomatic police during Embassy functions at Ambassador’s residence;Reception duties;General secretarial duties such as faxing and copying;Involvement in EU Presidency functions - planning and executing, receiving of guests including Ministers, Ambassadors and Diplomats
Arranging of meetings with Political Parties and their representatives;Data capturing of Visa refusals;Minutes of meetings; Arranging of accommodation for visiting guests from the Czech Republic;
