Role: HR Manager - January 2015 -till present
Recruitment - Handle the entire recruitment activity from start till end in compliance with UAE Labor Law and in line with the company manning budget. Coordinating with the Line Managers, understanding their requirements, developing job descriptions, short listing candidates, facilitating Interviews, negotiation of salaries and preparing of Offer Letters. Ensuring that the recruitments are all in alignment with the Manpower Plan. Managing the entire CV Database.
Training and Development: Plan and schedule Employee Orientation for new joinees. Conduct regular training programmes as and when required buy assessing the need. Developing and creating Standard Operating procedures and Employee manuals and keep track of constant amendment. Conducting assessment test to analyze employee’s skill level
Performance Management: Develop KPI and communicate the same to the employee and review the achievement against set KPI using the 3 -tier assessment method on quarterly basis and conduct and post review feedback session plus a development plan.
Best Practices and Policy development: Setting bench marks, developing process and policies to ensure the smooth operations of the company. Responsible for ensuring the employees follow the code of conduct at all times. Issuing warning letters, Termination letters, after thorough investigation and consultation with Line Manager
Employee Relation/welfare: Advice and guide employees and Managers as and when required. Handle grievances and carry out disciplinary actions according to company procedures, ensuring that all actions are fair and as per prescribed guidelines. Coordinate for employee relations with regards to social activities like monthly birthday celebrations, annual staff party, staff committee meetings, etc. Coordinate and follow up on accommodation, and transportation related staff concerns
UAE Labor law: Good understanding and knowledge about UAE Labor law, handling labor disputes at labor court when needed
Payroll Management: Overall responsibility for a payroll of up to 125 active staff through WPS System including timesheet processing, Review of payroll process.
Compensation & Benefits Management: Handle the computation of end of service benefit, leave salary, partial service gratuity release. Manage Sick Leave, salary Increment, promotion
Public Relation Works: handle the entire process of visa, labor card, emirates id, food handler’s health card, medical checkup (Including Free zone visa procedures). Handle all new business setup works (company formation, trade license Registration and cancellation, Ejari registration, LLC Agreement, adding partner in license, amendments in memorandum of association and Trade Mark registration .
Insurance: Health Coverage - Ensure all employees are covered with health coverage and yearly renewals are processed. Ensure all new joiners receive their coverage and inactive employees are removed from coverage. Handle workmen’s compensation, property, travel, vehicle, fire safety and money insurance.
Probations & Confirmation: Tracking all employees who have completed probation, providing evaluation forms to the respective line managers, and confirming the status of employment once the reviews have been found positive. Discussing the reviews with the Employees and provide propositions to improve their performance level
Record keeping/Personnel file updates : To ensure files are updated by tracking them once a week (for new joiners) and once in 2 weeks for existing employees - maintain electronic & manual records
Conduct Exit Interviews. Coordinate timely completion of the Employee Satisfaction Survey. Responsible for formulating regular reports like: Turnover Report, HR Report, and exit interview reports in a timely manner.
Other HR Functions: Designing and devising various HR forms, streamlining all HR Functions, Handling staff in Multiple Locations
